In the recording studio

Hello friends, 

I´m glad I have quite a busy time as a musician. 

Last weekend I took my band, augmented by a great female singer (Lili Mae) and the great percussionist Andi Steirer to the recording studio for our next album. 

It was just wonderful to work with those fantastic musicians, and though we had a lot of work (12 tunes in 2 days), we also had a lotta fun and a great time. 

The singer did 6 tunes with us and she wrote great lyrics to my compositon "Tune for Pharoah". The other vocal tracks are standards like Round Midnight, Moanin´ (with some astonishing scatting by Lili, doing 4´s with the horn players), a very fast version of "I got my love to keep me warm", and one of my favourite ballads (The Nearness of You). 

Besides "Tune for Pharoah" I had written 6 other originals, one as a feature for my bass player. There will be also some heavy funk stuff, where the drummer and percussionist really did a wonderful job. 

My visual artist and fotografer Lilia Kirilova made a lot of session fotos. 

Now I can´t wait to hear the masters. The album will be out early next year as CD as well as double vinyl. 

Until now, this is a great year for me musically.

I must say honestly, I dunno. That´s the record company that decides it I think. On Spotify it will be, I´m sure.
