FS/FT - Rare DIW CD: Takayangi Masayuki/Abe Kaoru - The Sympathy of Disintegration

Recorded live At Kousei Nenkin Hall, Tokyo, June 28, 1970.
First CD edition. This first pressing was a limited edition in mini-LP style sleeves. Subsequent pressings came in a regular jewelcase.

Note that the entire CD and case writing is in Japanese, I had to use google translate to figure out what I had.  And the music is even more lost on me, just totally not my thing, so I'd like to find a good home for this.

Yes, the timing basically matches the CD running time.  This one is not for the faint of heart.

Just curious how you crossed paths with this album (I know nothing about it, and  thinking you at least paid $25 and want to recoop your investment).

It’s great music in my opinion !

I bought the reissue LP when it was released several years ago and let go of the CD (maybe to Mr. Felser?). The original is one of the rarest free improvisation albums out of Japan.

I will say that the CD was too much for me when I originally bought it, but I was glad I held onto it and slowly began to immerse myself in Takayanagi’s more extreme recordings. He was an absolute genius and a singular figure in creative music. 

I also think Abe never sounded better than on that album.
