ghost of miles Posted 15 hours ago Report Posted 15 hours ago Listening to a newly-acquired copy of the BGO double CD that brings together three of Tom Scott’s mid-1970s albums, including the two with L.A. Express. I think I have about 15-20 of these BGO twofers (threefers?), and the annotations and sound are consistently good. What are some of your faves from this label, jazz or otherwise? Quote
Pim Posted 6 hours ago Report Posted 6 hours ago (edited) Just playing thisexcellent set. Only thing I dislike is the cheap looking artwork which gives you the impression you’re buying one of those sucky PD label compilation. But these are excellent Edited 5 hours ago by Pim Quote

I also like their Freddie Hubbard - the mid 70s Columbia albums - while not great, they are worth. listen and the packaging/price is right. Edited 1 hour ago by Eric Quote
