  1. If you really want to be fair, the Redskins defense lost that game, comon, 59 points by the end of 3 quarters. McNabb didn't have a chance, it was 28 zip in the first quarter. And McNabb and the offense still managed to generate 21 points, a winning score in many games. Although McNabb coughed up INT's, the offensive line really ain't that great either. I'm just saying!! And I didn't even see the final quarter, what was the final score??
  2. Yeah that was a tough loss. Don't understand the Pats some times. Hoping they decide to take it out on the Steelers.
  3. Man what a move by Manningham to go into end zone.
  4. Guys, I can't figure out what is going on with the teams either. Favre keeps losing the same way and Brad Childress refuses to put in another QB. Does he even have another QB?? Official making call in Steelers game seemed all to happy to "give" the ball back to Steelers on goal line so they could kick winning field goal. What is up with officials this year, can't see what is right in front of them this year. But I'll tell you one thing since we TV fans are supposedly not allowed to see the same thing the fans in the stadium can see..... the cheer leaders are really well put together this year
  5. Funny, the Pats just reacquired Branch on Tuesday, from the Sea-aints for a 4th-round draft pick. Also interesting, considering that Moss only brought back a 3d-rounder. Yeah, I'm aware the Pats just got Branch back. Strange huh!! Maybe politics involved with both only getting exchanged for 3rd and 4th round picks. That makes them "giveaways." Pats known to do business that way, I don't know about Saints.
  6. Incidentally, I am not a Minnesota fan, I just like good football. I live in Calif; born in Detroit but gave up on the Lions when they failed to get Barry Sanders any help and took a nose dive into oblivion. I prefer the Patriots even though they canned Moss (full story may never be known). They keep winning and putting together good teams. Am Brady (Michigan QB)fan. Though Dion Branch got screwed also (but may never know whole story here also).
  7. I'm not so sure about that (even with the last minute interception). Minn has no ground game all of a sudden. That is not Favre's fault. He doesn't call those plays and the offensive line is not holding up period. With Moss (long), Harvin (any range) and then Peterson running, they should be winning. They are not because of the line mostly. Defense keep giving up too many points also. We always blame the quarterback but that is not always the case.
  8. That's ditto for the Inland Empire. Man, when is Fall actually getting here??
  9. Well, there it is, Favre long to Moss for TD and just now, Favre short to Harvin for TD. Back in the game. I don't know who will win this game but Favre just justified the trade for Moss.
  10. Iggles= Eagles, Gents= Giants Sorry Bruce. Yeah, Eagles and Giants. Heard on Around the Horn earlier tonight that Favre is the 31st-ranked QB in the league. Not surprised, but kind of surprising anyways. Anyone betting he'll improve that ranking tonight with Moss? He's got a possible sexual harassment issue hanging over his head. No telling how he'll react. Could be lights out. Could be useless. Could be no different than he has been this season. Who the hell knows? It would take a betting man with some serious cujones to go either way tonight. Jets are favored by 4 points. If I had the money I'd bet on Favre tonight. He may not have brains now, but two things Farve has is an eye for beautiful women and cujones. He now has a "long" threat and if the line holds, you can bet he will try it over and over again until he gets that "touchdown" to prove that Moss was a good trade.
  11. OK, I had been gone for awhile and I don't know your nicknames. Who is the Iggles and who is the Gents? BruceW
  12. New England will still be a contender for the Division and Super Bowl.
  13. I agree. Being in the 51-60 does not make him a slouch. You have to be great to be even considered at all for the top 100. That may seem like a lot of guys, but there were thousands who played the game. Earl has been recognized respectfully.
  14. Wow, it was 111 on my patio yesterday (Monday) and I didn't even make an entry. Today, it is still over 100 but I didn't even go outside. Decided to take advantage of Video On Demand TV. Saw Repo Men. Didn't know what to expect and was I surprised. They are not talking about cars in this movie. BruceW
  15. I just saw this thread. Another problem that exists with Paypal is once your old card expires and you are issued a new one and you try to use it, Paypal does not, I repeat DOES NOT automatically update your account. You have to update the expiration date and security code when you purchase something online right then or by logging on to your account. So in essence, this problem will happen again and again every year your card expires. BruceW
  16. Living in the good ol' Inland Empire has its drawbacks, don't it? You Betcha
  17. It is 104 on my patio. Going up the street where a neighbor has a thermometer outside on his fence. Be right back!! Well that didn't work, his thermometer is also in the shade of a tree and is reading 104. But you can bet if you stand in the sun, you will burn. Whew!!
  18. Randy Moss great catch but New England goes down in flames.
  19. WOW did anybody just see that one handed catch by Randy Moss, on the run, for a touchdown?? BruceW Wow I guess Randy Moss just made Reivis or what's his name shut his mouth. Man, that catch made me jump up and scream. It makes watching Sunday NFL football worth while because we get to see the replays and slow motion in addition. Wow man, wow BruceW p.s. I knew there was a reason why I was still breathing air in the morning when I wake up. WOW :bwallace2:
  20. Looks like a bad year (in continuation) for all the USC quarterbacks who left school early thinking they were sooooo good. Too many athletes leaving school early because they think they are sooo good. (and clean) are you listening Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo?? I used to idolize USC and its programs...... ? On football pro teams, I'm just glad Tom Brady did not get hurt in the first game this year. Go Pats. But remember to feed Randy Moss also.
  21. Haven't run the a/c in two days now. That's perfect. BruceW
  22. Holy S**t I just checked again and it is now 107 degrees on my patio. Not going outside again today. Feeling lethargic, can't concentrate on practice. Think I will just enjoy the US Tennis Open and some football on TV.
  23. Man, it is 9:30 A.M. and it is 98 degrees on my patio already. I need to move.
  24. For the past two weeks with only a break of a couple of days this week, the temps have been in the 100's every day. I'm in San Bernardino but where I am is is always 5-10 degrees hotter than appears on weather forecasts. Yesterday it was 105 degrees in the shade on my patio. BruceW
