Jazzmoose
I Only Have Eyes for You by the Flamingos. I just listened to it with fond memories rather than one negative emotion or another...
John Tapscott
Two tracks Keen and Peachy followed by Pennies From Heaven from Disc 2 The first has a marvelous solo by Bennie Green (who is excellent through both sets IMO), and the 2nd has a very fine solo by Hank. Great stuff all around.
jazzbo
The tune "Bridges" by Nascimento performed by Monday Michiru with vocal assistance by Ed Motta on "Soulception." The whole album is a wonderful listen, but that one performance really gets me, and especially for some reason this week. I love Monday, and I love Ed. Great singers (and writers). John Tapscott
The whole CD really, but Opus de Funk in particular. Other bands swung as hard at times, but none harder than this band on this track. This track will swing into the next world! JSngry
The Dixie Hummingbirds covering "Jesus Children Of America". All Stevie Wonder covers should cut to the chase like this one does.
John Tapscott
Since there's really only one track here, I'll nominate the whole thing. This is very, very good music with enough swinging to please even the hardboppers.

imeanyou
' My Autumn's Done Come' - Lee Hazlewood. I'm belatedlyrealising what a great singer/songwriter this man was, so much more than just Nancy Sinatra's lower register...

johnlitweiler
I Only Have Eyes for You by the Flamingos. I just listened to it with fond memories rather than one negative emotion or another... Loveliest rock & roll record ever. I also heard them sing it at the Regal Theater in Chicago in about 1961 or '62.
