And if you've seen my playlists or heard the program you'll know that my show indeed tends to focus on the more adventurous and avant garde "fringes" of the music. These were all 78s (singles) not albums. Labels include Decca, Apollo, Aladdin, Victor, Clef/Norgran/Verve, etc. I do understand it is easier to ask others to do your research but the work is rewarding and many times more reliable than free info. As far as the Amazon listing is concerned, you need to learn about the "scroll" feature on the right of you screen. This will give you a list of the tunes and a capsule review of the set. I see the Proper site says the box is in short supply. Time to make a decision I'd say.

Dumpy, if I can call you that , the Jarman thread was about recommendations and Cliffie said he dumped the Delmarks because they needed sonic upgrades - no mention of format and I took exception since I had produced both reissues and had done a "sonic upgrade" in the past few months. Now he says he's talking about the condition of his vinyl purchases - a very different thing than the impression left on the thread. Why are you busting my balls here?
