  1. Heard her interviewed on the radio last weekend. We should all send her hammers.
  2. Was this in the vinyl thread? If so, my mistake.
  3. Guess you never created anything. Oh, you did? When was that? Sorry, you don't own it anymore. You can buy 2 acres in Utah, leave them to your children, they can leave them to their children and this shit can go on forever. I create a musical masterpiece (novel, symphony, blues, poem, etc) and at some point the friggin' government can take my rights and give it to "everyone". Why didn't I buy 2 acres in Utah?
  4. FWIW, I'm now awaiting the Kansas jazz tome from KW.
  5. Thanks for that. I for one enjoy Ross's writings. He's quite informal in the best way -- kinda like Kevin Whitehead. And I like the low cringe quotient in his writings compared to other cultural critics. I've thrown New Dutch Swing at the wall more than twice... It bounced back, didn't it?
  6. If you need reminding, you said "Hit-or-miss, like anybody else. I used to have the early Delmarks and at least one Black Saint, all of which I sold (the Delmarks needed condition upgrades that never actually happened). I've retained the double-vinyl duo with Don Moye on India Navigation, which I like." Please don't make me tell you about reality again. Accept my apology for being there when it happened.
  7. Suggest you check out http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php...l=Joseph+Jarman .
  8. Clifford, in another thread about Jarman, you said they were due for an update. We did a 24 bit redo of the second one (As If It Were The Seasons) and that info was posted here at least once sometime this year. If you really want this, seek the new cover art.
  9. Is anyone allowed to go there?
  10. Up. Just want more folks to have an opportunity to read this.
  11. Those on the "inside" never recognize the image in the mirror. If you don't think the stuff you mention is/was "commercial" you misunderstood your time in that time.
  12. Haven't you heard MacArthur Park?
  13. The US does not charge duties on compact discs period. Nomatter individual or corporate shipments.
  14. Nothing wrong with posting the info here. I just get tired of seeing stuff from my email box repeated at the next two sites I visit. My point is Eigo should post stuff to this board if he wants it here. He has the time and he is paid for it. I could almost double my post count by copying and pasting all the music related stuff I get in my inbox. Anyone want leads on a cheap source for Cialis?
  15. Send everything. If you send too much I promise to send it back.

  17. Got it. It will go out in the morning mail.
  18. That's one way to stop him.
  19. Time for Clem to post details of his work of the last 20 years and income, perks, motives, etc. Lazaro is a friend and the most conscientious radio person I know. This thread is a shitload of crap. Why should a real person, doing real things, defend himself from attacks initiated by an imaginary figure? Play your games elsewhere.
  20. None of this really matters in consideration of the current Concord. After Carl's death the company holdings have shifted from corporation to corporation. They now seem to be a relatively faceless holding company with a bunch of assets they are trying to exploit. The current crew seems to want to do the right thing but ultimately choose dollars over artistry. In their defense they will say this is necessary to survive and at this point I'm not willing to argue the point.
  21. The Before Motown project got sidelined for a while. The Diz project is waiting on liner notes and should be out in early '08.
  22. Might be referring to the Yoshi's tribute cd debacle.
  23. Absolutely. I can supply any/all Uptown cds.
