  1. Are you sure she wasn't indicating a lust for a town to the west of London? On second thoughts, I lived there for three years. This is most unlikely. It could have been lust for the town in eastern Pennsylvania, which is probably named after the town to the west of London. Naaah, that's equally as unlikely.
  2. A bit behind on our reading?
  3. I think that's because it never really happened. It's all a conspiracy to defraud the rest of us.
  4. It's obviously because they realized you're an FOC. B-) (FOC=Friend of Catesta)
  5. I REALLY wanted to go to that but, alas, I have to be out of town. You know Catesta is in town now, and may be up for this. If you want his cell phone number, Alan, PM or email me.
  6. Yours doesn't say "Concert Band" on the spine? If so, whoever produced these (Mosaic or Universal or a subcontractor thereof) must have caught the mistake in the middle of the production run.
  7. My box arrived a couple of days ago, and I have the first 4 discs loaded in the CD changer ready to go (as soon as "The Koln Concert" finishes B-) ).
  8. I was wondering the same thing... Looks like tranemonk edited his first post to delete the reference to where these can be downloaded (perhaps at the behest of Board Management?).
  9. Me too. I still desire the stupid Stitt Mosaic box. Personally, I'd rather have the smart Stitt Mosaic box, but that's just me. Actually, I've been going back and forth on this one, also.
  10. In this 2002 NPR interview, he points out that clarinet sitting on a shelf in his house.
  11. Here's a couple of posts about another Mosaic from Artie's collection (also unopened, at least partially).
  12. Maybe he was just another speculator, and always intended to sell it on Ebay himself.
  13. My Disc 6 (also from a Universal-distributed set purchased from Caiman) definitely does NOT have that on it. Thanks for posting that, Rod. I've been wondering what people were talking about.
  14. In Pennsylvania we're lucky to get a refund within a month or two of filing. Do you file online? That's how I do it. I haven't done that yet. I'm sure that would speed things up, even in THIS state.
  15. In Pennsylvania we're lucky to get a refund within a month or two of filing.
  16. In a similar vein, how about "trAmbone"--Wynton pronounces it like that in his VV set.
  17. Or, you could keep trying with Caiman until you get a good one. They seem to keep replenishing their stock (and other Amazon Marketplace sellers seem to have plenty at great prices).
  18. A group of Board members hangin' in the Village, with the first round on Maren --that should be Contestamazing!
  19. Hey, keep that stuff in the Misspelling Thread.
  20. Yet, that a young announcer is saying his name at all--and using it in the same sentence as "great"--should be cause for celebration.
  21. Actually, there's a whole weekend Catestaval here in Philly. Unfortunately, I just found out I have to be out of town from Saturday until Sunday, so I can only make a Friday night event. Isn't that when Catestamania is being held?
  22. And hopefully you'll reveal those plans to us before you've come and gone.
  23. That's in my queue--unless you got the last one.
  24. If Peter does the NY thing, then no Philly Catestaganza???
  25. ,,,nothing ever does! . . . except the great music you're making. B-)
