Heiner Goebbels' Die Befreiung Des Prometheus clocks in at nearly 45 minutes on the first side of the LP. Also, I remember how neat it was to have those Syntonic Research LPs ("Environments") with most of them having 30 minutes exactly to a side (and some you could play at 16 rpm to get an hour per side). Volume 3 had 34 and 37 minute tracks on one LP.
  2. Well, it was 2-5 AM in the contiguous states on a Sunday.
  3. Well, these deaths hit hard. So, I'm gonna spend some time with them today. Frederic Rzewski (just saw him in 2017 with Musica Elettronica Viva and solo) and Peter Zinovieff (influential engineer: EMS studios introducing the VCS3 synthesizer to lots of major rock bands). When I saw these, it showed that they died on the same day - today - but seconds later it showed Zinovieff dying three days ago. Both people very important to their professions.

  5. Well, I've always liked these tunes going back to the 70s, but the frustrating thing is all of these reissues and such. I have these recordings that've been released every decade going back to the 70s and I'm always wondering why they don't just do some kind of multiple disc/vinyl set with all of the tunes. This latest set doesn't have Calling You and the Farewell Theme (11 minutes!). I'm not even asking for the previously unreleased stuff to be added (tho that would be great) - just put all of the Egypt Strut, the Sono Cairo, and the Arkestra tracks together in one place.

  8. Me too for the boosters. I'm hoping for October 'cause, for me, it'll be 6 months from the last shot and, also, we're planning on our first trip in 2 years then.

  17. If it's the one I'm thinking of, they had great horchata (migas too!)
  18. This was released during this pandemic, so I'll guess that it may be their version of a tracking system.
  19. Well, then "Bar Code" would make more sense than having a "Bad Code" when it comes to Canadians (tho it is quite code there).
  20. I only know of the download. Celebrating Hermeto Pascoal's 85th B-day today.
