  1. I gotta buy all my music. I always had problems downloading music.
  2. I wish I had enough money to, but no. I usually can't wait to listen to a disk after I buy it. If I bought 100 disks at a time, I'd probaly listen to them all as soon as I bought them.
  3. Genesis was released domestically on a subsidiary of Atlantic, I believe. Chris, why don't you call the record store and ask what they were playing? Guy ← I doubt they remember.
  4. I knew it was Atlantic from the same design that all the early 1970's MJQ albums had.
  5. I was recently in a record shop, where the store owner was playing an album on his turntable. It was really far out there progressive rock, from the 70s. (?) I'm not sure. I was really liking it. I glanced over at the turntable and saw it was an Atlantic label. I didn't get the name, but I would really like to find it. This almost an impossible task, but if someone could give me some obscure progressive rock bands that recorded for Atlantic in the late 60's and 70's, it would be really helpful. Thanks.

Some, not all. Do you have a turntable? ← Numerous ones. It's not so much the turntable, its the actual records. I have to check out my vinyl shop.

Does this mean I'll have a tough time finding those 70's albums?

"It seemed like the critics at the time looked upon us as not quite a jazz band. Our concept of bebop was quite different from all of the New Yorkers, the Detroit sound in that day. We always had a factor of rhythm and blues under the music. And it was very, very appealing to listeners. --Joe Sample
  12. I was really talking about The Best Of Kenny Burrell, though..

I know they changed their name from the Jazz Crusaders..?? I liked their later style. Their earlier, more straight ahead style seemed like nothing new, and too latin based. Or at least the album I heard. Where to start on their later material. What do you think?
  18. LZ 2, the greatest Zeppelin album of all, imo. Fine sound for me..
  19. Hadn't entered my mind. I bet there's one I can think of that no one will list. I'll just keep it secret 4 now.
  20. I've had that problem for months. Maybe it'll work for me now. I always seem to have the exact opposite situation of everyone else.
  21. Every artist has that one signature album. With Kenny, its that one!
  22. Oh no, where's Soul Stream.
  23. Are they currently with Blue Note?
