Isn't it just a reissue of the earlier Chronicles disc The Fillmore Concerts? Why should anyone upgrade to this one?

It seems to me that you could just as easily go to the BFT Master List and click on any of the links in there which would take you to the answer thread of the particular BFT you're looking for.

True dat, but all of the Green/Young/Jones albums are in print (Into Somethin' came out as a Conn, but I believe that can still be had fairly cheaply), so springing for the Larry Young Mosaic, while essential, isn't necessarily of the utmost importance.

I have no idea who drew my avatar. It's origination is in this thread. For all I know, Chaney may have drawn it, and if so, I thank thee heartily. The reason I chose to make this my avatar is because of my favorite saying of Christ: "Come to me all you who are weary, and I will give you rest." It's from Matthew, and as anyone who's ever received an e-mail will tell you, it's also my e-mail signature. This is the part of Christ's example that I've always striven to follow: offering rest and comfort to those who need it. Or, as the guy from Creed once bellowed, "with ahhhms wahhhd oh-paahhhn" (translated: with arms wide open)

And you never know: the whole time my daughter was growing up, I thought she would be a serious tree-hugger. Somehow she ended up a conservative! Don't know how, why, or when, but I can tell you that I never once told her how she should vote for anything (which would be difficult anyway, seeing as she's only 17 (for a couple more weeks, anyway)).

(Kids have to give their parents some grief!) Can you imagine that? Kid comes home one day dressed in a suit and tie, with a “Jenna 4 Prez” button on his lapel, briefcase in one hand, a copy of Sean Hannity’s latest book in the other, and says “You guys just don’t understand me.” :g And if I know Johnny, he’ll still love the kid with all his heart. A good man, that Johnny is. (Although he’ll still ask, “Where the heck did we go wrong?” ) Still pullin’ for ya, man! Hang in there.

Probably won't see it. I mean, I liked her in Daredevil and all, but my perception of her was eternally changed by 13 Going on 30. What can I say? She's just so danged CUTE! Make no mistake, though: I think she's still hot!!!

I hear ya there; when I listen to it, I usually program it so that all the big band tracks play together, and all the trio tracks play together. Flows better that way, IMO; wonder why they didn't release it like that originally?

Then I suggest you try to find it used, because even though it's nice, $19 for a 36-minute album is pretty steep. Sure wish they'd charge the new prices for these old LPRs.

Wow.... can't wait to get to that part of the book. Heck, I'm still way back in the "Generators." -_-

Yeah, I forgot to ask if I deserved credit for inspiring that bit of audio tomfoolery. Just think if anyone had real audio editing capability-with multiple track capability, you could take Armstrong's original "wonderful World" and add some Gee-Whiz noodling on top, really confuse people! Don't think that didn't cross my mind a few times! B-)
