This week's "Straight, No Chaser" began with a tribute to the great Horace Silver (1928-2014). Then we listened to some tracks by the musicians who are performing in the Earshot Summer Series at the Seattle Art Museum later this week. On Thursday, June 26, the Ambrose Akinmusire Quintet is featured, along with Darius Jones and Tarbaby. On Friday, June 27, Human Feel and The Westerlies will perform.
