  2. That Blythe is wonderful Firstly Andrew Hill - Compulsion!!!!! [Blue Note, 1974 repress] and now Andrew Hill - Andrew!!! {Blue Note, 1968] John Gilmore!!!!
  3. Thanks, Kings Cross is nearer and I don't have to survive the H&City line to get there. Scarred for life by commuting to Westbourne Grove
  4. Not managed to get out and shop yet but it won't be long Has HJ West got a big used section now? Always seemed to focus more on new vinyl recent years. The Kings X branch certainly had a nice used selection pre-lockdown
  5. Ravi Shankar - Improvisations & Theme from Pather Panchali [His Masters Voice, India 1964] One of my first Berne purchases about when it was released I'd guess
  6. This is such a great album, listening now because of your post yesterday. Thank you. 'Black Classical Music', indeed
  7. Limp Bizkit The Sea & Cake The Cookie Monster
  8. Bertie Wooster The Little Red Rooster Boris The Booster
  9. Swampy Pete Bog Peter Bogdanovich
  10. Snooker World Championship - Mark Selby v Mark Williams Next 'The Man In The High Castle' season 2. Still undecided about this. It seems to me let down by the plotting, or lack of. The recreation of occupied West and East coasts is excellent, and disconcerting. I need to reread the book that I really rated
  11. Ann Wilson Nancy Wilson Wilson Pickett
  12. An eclectic mix of recordings mostly made at a Chinese venue Old Heaven Bookshop, as I understand https://oldheavenbooks.bandcamp.com/
  13. Bryan Ferry Charon Styx, the band
  14. Cafe Oto stocked them briefly. I only bought this which is excellent, wish I'd bought some others. Will have to make do with downloads
  15. Yes,I have the Russell. The only ones that I don't have that are shown on the back of the covers are the Levitt and Ayler.
  16. Mine's in the post. Really looking forward to it. I've enjoyed the previous ones
  17. Rod Levitt Orchestra - The Dynamic Sound Patterns of the Rod Levitt Orchestra [Riverside, mono]
  18. The Jazz Composers Orchestra - Communication [Fontana, Mono]
  19. I'm pleased it makes sense to someone else! The CD reissue would be a temporary compromise, I guess
  20. Yes, I have the LP of the Riverside. But I'd like the Marte Rolling cover just to complete the set. Just checked Discogs and it appears two copies of that edition of the LP sold last year, none beforehand. I'd read previously that it had never been printed, ho hum. That'll teach me not to update my wantlist
  21. But will they reissue/issue the mysterious Rod Levitt Orchestra album 'Dynamic Sound Patterns' from the Marte Rolling series, that's the big question for me... I don't know about the tote but the 'Blood' T-shirt does it for me
  22. Sleepy, the dwarf Sleepy John Estes Kip Hanrahan
  23. I enjoyed this too. Thanks for posting
