  5. "Tuesday and Wednesday we have a very special appearance from jazz legend Scott Hamilton. If you've never heard Scott you should take this opportunity as his New York concerts are fairly rare. We will also be recording both nights for our label, SmallsLIVE. Scott's group is featuring the wonderful pianist Rossano Sportiello, bassist Hassan Shakur and drummer Chuck Riggs. This will definitely be an evening of swinging jazz and romantic ballads."

  8. julan priester played an endless variety of styles of music as if he owned them. i would not make that statement about any other musician, living or dead. i hear that he has passed away, but can't confirm it.

  10. he hadn't mastered the grunt yet; he then still thought he was an instantaneous fabulous composer. i love my old grey covered hymns/spheres vinyls and the booming bass. i don't know what sort of music it is, or even it it's any kind of music. it for sure, is sound, echo, and space. the cd with good phones revved up would probably blow my old ears off.

  12. "My Friends: Today is exactly 6 years to the day that I became partner and manager of Smalls Jazz Club. All I can say is that it's been the most transformative years of my life. I cannot fully express the debt and gratitude that I feel to all of the beautiful musicians, fans, staff and public that have made these six years so incredibly special. Smalls and the preservation and dissemination of Jazz Music is my life's work. Thank you all for your support and your friendship. God bless everyone! Love, Spike"

  16. http://dfw.cbslocal....contemplations/ the tight end was covered. it was the flankers responsibility to back off the line. ------------------------------------ the only announcer who had a coherent thought or clue yesterday was boomer esiason, both on radio color and tv at half time. the other legions of old player announcers were worthless, and personally, i can't stand boomer I watched much of the game on mute. But I don't primarily blame the announcers. I primarily blame the network executives who give them their instructions. i turned to the nfl network after the game for analysis. the nfl network should be ashamed of itself for marketing such mediocre rubbish.
  17. http://dfw.cbslocal....contemplations/ the tight end was covered. a tight end cannot be covered by another eligible receiver on the o-line. it was the flankers responsibility to back off the line. ------------------------------------ the only announcer who had a coherent thought or clue yesterday was boomer esiason, both on radio color and tv at half time. the other legions of old player announcers were worthless, and personally, i can't stand boomer
