  2. Now, wait a minute. Buttered popcorn jelly beans are the ONLY worthwhile jelly beans. You just gotta be able to TASTE those chemicals. Cheers!
  3. Any news? Still keeping all fingers crossed ... easy, for a drummer
  4. Hi, the "Duet" one is nice, yes, but, Agustín, try this one: The Complete Gipsy Project. Dreyfus 2003 (2 CD) It's got what you'd like in a nutshell. Excellent CD, collecting his Swing stuff (from that project). Love it. I got it for 9 Euro on sale somewhere ... quite THE bargain. Cheers! P.S.: Haven't been able to find that one the regular way yet. Seems to be a bit more rare. I'll check elsewhere. Will post some links here if I find any. 5. Well, I finally ordered this baby and got it for 61 Euro. Not a bad price. The cheaper ones would have lead to a lot of hassle with customs once again, and I'm seriously tired of that. European protectionism is a pain in the ass. This set is just up my alley and may well be the highlight of the year for me. It's been a Granz year anyway, with this box, the various Montreux DVDs and a whole bunch of Granz Verve sessions I bought. 2004. A good year for (the) jazz (I like) (... but NOT for packaging). Cheers!
  6. Only grunting, as far as I know. I have a bunch of recordings, but they're all the same stuff: a Thigpen tune comes to mind where the solo is accompanied by various guttural sounds ... and at times Japanese-sounding stuff ... but words? I have to check. I don't think so, and I do have quite a bit of drumming stuff. Cheers!
  7. Sorry, but "tomorrow" sounds just fine.
  8. Was glad to hear the slightly more positive news. Keep us posted ... and best wishes yet again!
  9. I screwed up. It's some importer who's asking this price. My French sucks.
  10. That's just typical again: "Joe Gloss (left) and Jim Alfredson of Organissimo (drummer Randy Marsh not pictured)."
  11. Let's see: Amazon Germany has this one for Euro EUR 79,99. Amazon UK has it for £39.99 which equals Euro 57.16. Amazon France has it for Euro 43,86. That's the EU for you. I guess I'll let my good friends in France have the money. Or I'll wait for 2001 (Zweitausendeins) to mark it down a bit. Cheers!
  12. Did you strike gold? Got anything to spare?
  13. Sent you a PM. Tons of best wishes from this side of the Atlantic.
  14. Yep. I bought that one a while back, and although I wasn't too happy with some of the sound quality (some of the earlier stuff on disc 1 could certainly have been remastered in a better way), I was quite happy to own a legit release by them. If you do like West Coast Jazz, this is certainly a box to run out and buy. Great value to boot.
  15. Me too!
  16. Not quite. Not the Polish people are selling the condoms. I didn't phrase that properly. But I think I'll stay away from that issue ... for a while.
  17. Depends on how many "evildoers" there are there. Don't count it out. Plenty. But most of them have moved to Germany. That's probably why they sell those unnaturally huge condoms here. And, we've come full circle.
  18. Bush is planning to invade Poland? You don't say.
  19. So the Germans killed a couple of million Jews because their penises aren't big enough? Interesting theory.
  20. line Sounds more serious though.
