I had to go with Round Midnight. I really like Crepescule w/ Nellie, too. Hell, I like everything he wrote.

I saw Ravi a couple of times last summer with Rashied Ali and Reggie Workman. I was very surprised at how unlike his father he sounded (not that sounding like JC is a problem ), and how personal his improvisations seemed. His lines, sense of time, and tone all came across to these ears as coming from a very mature and thoughtful artist. A damn nice guy, to boot.
