Discussion on BFT#13 is about to begin (mail service has worked very fast this time and many participants have already received the discs), and I thought about starting this question, suggested by Man with the Golden Arm in the Sign-up thread: Would it better to start two separate discussion threads when there are more than one disc (this is, one "official BFT disc" and one "bonus disc")? This has never been done before, but maybe this would make browsing quicker and easier! Waiting for your opinions (I´ll wait a few days to start it/them till the complete answers for BFT#12 have been posted and subsequent discussion fades away)

There are two only obstacles for France, who still is my favorite (I even made a bet for them in a draw among a bunch of friends): -the basis of the team is very old (Barthez, Lizarazu, Thuram, Zidane, Makelele, Pires...) -Zidane needs another creative player in the midfield: Pires plays too stuck to the side line and both Vieira and Makelele are only-destructive players (the infamous "double-pivot" tactic)

Ditto, Brad. This team is the most boring Spain I remember from the last ten or fifteen years (and we had some "hard years" with Clemente). Anyway, Spain usually offers a better entertainment in sucessive matches... and that´s when we lose: the better we play, the more possibilities we have to lose

Spanish & Russian Postal Services were fast this time! Let´s wait for Daniel A to post the answers and the subsequent discussion that will come. Then I´ll start the discussion thread.

Try this: Organissimo: the jazz corner where you can find all about jazz.... No, too repetitive... B) -

John, since you finished those Lord files for the Basie project... I see you have plenty of time. Maybe I´ll lend you the Sheridan book to correct those files... BTW: great designs, man! I´ll pick WHATEVER is decided to go with! -

You´re right, clementine. I was only trying to make an apologia of Miguelón! And go, Roberto Heras! (he´s from Béjar, a small town near Salamanca, my birth place). I´m afraid he spent his best cycling years being the top "gregario" for LA -well, alongside another good Spanish ones, such as Chechu Rubiera-. It brought him money and maybe prestige but not titles. I rank him as a good to very good climber, but not THE CLIMBER (as Marco Pantani was in his era). Regretfully he loses too many seconds-minutes in chronometered days to recover them climbing Alpes or Pirineos. Anyway, GO, ROBERTO, GO -
Anybody mentioned SPAIN 1 - RUSSIA 0 ? What a terrible match, btw! Playing that bad, semifinals (at most) is our target! We have one of the most stupid trainers ever: "Let´s keep Valerón for the last minutes" and he even states he was right because he put him in for the second half and he scored...

How Long Has Jazz Been In Your Ears?
EKE BBB replied to Dan Gould's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
I think you made a very good point here, Bev. We all take Jazz too seriously many times (trying to define it, analyze it....), forgetting that it´s all about ENJOYING THE MUSIC. Yeah, that comment brought a smile to my face... So jazz (or at least jazz boards) makes you happy too! -
John, whip him!

RDK added to the list. Now you´re 29... and growin´... B)

Anyway you´ll post later than him, dear procrastinator...
