  1. I saw one locally for $300, mint in/out.
  2. There is a monumental difference between unknowlingly and knowlingly sleeping with another man's wife. I'm with Patricia here. Your actions were reprehensible. Perhaps not as reprehensible as the women's, of course. Really now. What leads you to believe that I didn't find out post-factum, not a priori? Ever see Belle Du Jour? Well, the way you mentioned the incidents suggested you knew a priori. Maybe you should reserve your judgements for something you really know about. I am sure such topic exists. As it stands, you owe me an apology. For what? Bragging about sexual conquests of married women? Hey Dude, what you do is between yourself and the parties involved. Just don't expect to come on the board bragging about this crap without expecting to be challenged about it. "Boom-Boom" Conn BTW, read my responses. Where was I being rude to you? I merely said that I woudn't be so proud of such behavior, and I stand by that. You on the other hand, responded quite rudely. Go fuck yourself. In a metaphorical sense of course. Since you're married and all.

  5. You mean to tell us that you had an FBI file pulled on every man you ever slept with? Or one or two married ones managed to slip through the cracks [no pun intended]?
  6. Well, see, I never had a chance to go to any boom-boom bars in Thailand. You can breath easy, 'connoisseur series500' , now that I myself am a married man, I have agreed to have been fit with a chastity belt. It's called a cell phone and the wife got the key.
  7. I was waiting for someone to mention this. IMO, 8 out of 10 marriages fail when one of the spouses is cheating. Soul-searching or not, odds are your former spouse was porking someone before the marriage went south. I've had some married lovers, but noone divorced because of me, I think. Immoral perhaps, but I was in my early to mid twenties, single and had my own apartment. If anything I was being preyed upon by the unfaithful wives. At least I got to fulfill my "older woman" fantasy. So the women tempted you? Sounds right out of Genesis. It's a total cop-out, Dmitry. Sleeping with someone else's spouse, besides being wrong, is a betrayal of the woman's husband. Where is the brotherhood that men seem to be so proud of having? Patricia, I'll let you in on a little secret - the brotherhood bylaws are automatically suspended the instant the nipple shows its little smiling face. Furthermore, here's a Georgia Peach commemorative quarter, go buy yourself a little sense of humor.

  9. Funny, I always thought otherwise...
  10. Let me guess - you let your chihuahua go chipmunk on[in?] his ass?!
  11. Thanks everybody for your enthusiastic replies and advice. I just purchased the 1st. volume of 3 stories [7 volumes in total] of Tintin's adventures. Book contains- TINTIN IN AMERICA THE CIGARS OF THE PHARAOH THE BLUE LOTUS Haven't opened it yet, as I have another book to finish, but tomorrow I'm planning to join Tintin on his adventures.
  12. Hey, at least he doesn't drink the blood of the Christian babies. Like "some people". Right, Mel?
  13. Never mind jazz; I live near a city with population of 170,000 and there is not a single deli where I can get a decent pastrami on rye sandwich. Not a single one!
  14. Little known fact - along with the Nigerian email scammers, the unscrupulous CD shelf dealers are the worst, most cunning criminals out there. I pity the fools who suffer from their clever and oft times violent scams!
  15. Growing up behind the Iron Curtain I'd only heard of Tintin [no wonder - the first book was about Tintin in the Land of the Soviets]. Recently I saw an interesting tv documentary on Herge, the creator of Tintin and now I'm interested in purchasing Tintin books in English. I am positive that a whacky collection of individuals here contains some Tinitin fans who could steer me the right way. Which Tintin book would you recommend to start me off?
  16. eBay Trane This is from the now famous Guernsey'a Auction, which I also attended. I remember this lot. This is 100% authentic Coltrane.
  17. Just to nit-pick - a cover w/cut corner is NOt mint by definition.
  18. I ordered on July 14th, never got the Fedex tracking #. Should I get worried or wait a few days? Will calling Concord help at all?
  19. Who has the cassette in their cars any more?!
  20. * What's the best-sounding file format I can download into that thing and how? It looks like everything is happening automagically from the iTunes into the Nano.. * How do you make sure this thing doesn't scratch? It looks very vulnerable. Especially since I'll be taking it to the gym with me... * I've read that you can buy a little gizmo that attaches to the Nano and dial into an fm radio frequency in your car and it'll pick up the signal from the iPod, so you don't have to hard-wire it. Anybody use anything like that?

  23. My memory of Belgium is kinda hazy, but I do recommend Lambique [lots of it], crepes, and definitely go visit Brugge, like the others have said. A wonderful town that was spared by both world wars. DO NOT DRIVE INTO BRUGGE, it's a nightmare!!! Instead of Paris I'd hop on a quick train to Amsterdam.
  24. My wife thought it was quite funny. But then again she moved here from Europe only about 4 years ago...
  25. Last night I placed an order for $360. This puts a serious dent in my cd buying budget for this [and next] year. It'll be shipped to my office, naturally... otherwise it could turn ugly at home.
