Actually, we get quite a bit of the purchase price from CDBaby. Otherwise, you can order through Amazon.com. I set up a seller account there called "organissimo_direct". If you do a search (with the search bar up above!) for "organissimo", you'll find it. There are only two sellers selling the disc on Amazon. Me (organissimo_direct) and harveyauctions, which is selling it for a ridiculously high price of $39.99.

Peter, Amsterdam is truly an amazing city. Like I said in an earlier post, I want to come back with my family, preferrably when its spring or summer, and visit the museums (especially the Van Gogh). What tiny fraction we actually saw of the city was incredible. Ron, the show went well. We got calls for an encore and a standing ovation. The audience was very receptive and seemed to dig what we were doing. The Hammond B3 that Barak and festival coordinator Gali worked very hard to get for me was the best B3 I've played on a festival to date. And its one of only three Hammond B3s in all of Israel! This is a beautiful city and we hope to come back in the future.

Yeah, pretty strong smells coming from those joints. Get it? Joints?! Ah har har.

We're in Tel-Aviv now. Finally got some sleep. Met Barak and had some lunch and coffee together. Barak is as much of a gentleman as I thought he'd be. He's treating us like kings. The B3 is awesome... the best one I've played at a festival so far. I can't wait for tonight. We'll tear it up and represent! Randy is still sleeping. That bum. Hey Ron, Philly is about as close to a European city there is in America, but it ain't no Amsterdam! That could be a good thing or a bad thing. But we love Philly. Oh by the way, I forgot... In my absence, Chuck is in charge. Don't piss him off.

We're in the Schipol Airport right now. We headed downtown for a bit today and saw some Dutch girls with the fish. I didn't have the stomach to try it. I wish we could've seen more, but we are majorly jet-lagged. We're waiting for our flight to Israel now (have about 2 hours to go). I'm looking forward to sleeping in a bed. What we saw of Amsterdam was beautiful. I want to come back in the spring/summer for a week with the family.

Hey fellow members, We'll be flying into Amsterdam Wednesday morning, about 9am local time. We have a 12 hour layover and don't fly out until 9pm that night to Israel. We're planning on hanging out and checking out Amsterdam ourselves, but if any forum members want to hang, let us know! We leave tomorrow at 7pm (about 20 hours from now). We're excited to visit The Netherlands, if only for a few hours!

God, I want to visit France! And Germany! And most of Europe! organissimo needs to go do a tour!

I don't think there have been enough orders from overseas Amazon subsidiaries for them to send a check. It has to be over a certain amount every quarter or they just keep tallying it up until it reaches the threshold. I think the minimum limit is $50. Hey, if you can't afford it, I totally understand. I'm not asking people to break the bank, here. I know times are tough. But if anyone can spare a dime, we'd appreciate it.

Back in March 2006 we set up the search bar up on top (or in the middle, depending on what skin set you chose) that allowed members to search CDUniverse.com, Amazon.com and various European subsidiaries thereof. The idea was to generate income to help offset the costs of the dedicated server that is hosting the organissimo forums. We also rely on donations through Paypal. We appreciate the donations and the use of the search bar above, but so far those two things are not paying the bills solely by themselves. For the record, from March 2006 until February 2007, here are the total affiliate fees received by CDUniverse and Amazon.com (I've gotten nothing from any of the overseas Amazons): CDUniverse: $502.75 Amazon: $274.00 TOTAL: $776.75 The cost of the server is $99 a month plus $50 a month for weekly backups (to avoid database problems like we had a few months ago). So that comes to $1800 per year. I'm not sure what our donation totals were (I could find that out by spending some time on Paypal) but I do know that they slowed considerably as soon as the search bar was set up. I'm guessing maybe $200 - $300 worth last year. EDIT: We received $301.15 in donations. The weird figure is due to Paypal taking a cut. As you can see, we're nowhere near paying for the server. Things have been especially tough these past few months since organissimo (the band) has not been gigging much and therefor our reserves of money from CD sales (which is how we pay for the rest of the board costs) is very low. So, I'm asking... or rather pleading at this point, for members to either donate a little bit (even $5 helps!) and/or remember to use the search bar above for making purchases from CDUniverse or Amazon.com. Remember, you only have to GET to CDUniverse or Amazon.com from here ONCE in the course of 12 hours in order for organissimo.org to get credit for the sales. The cookie that is planted on your computer is valid for 12 hours, so as long as you initially get to CDUniverse.com or Amazon.com from here, all sales will be credited to us within a 12 hour time-frame, even if you only do one search here and continue searching from within CDUniverse or Amazon. And yes, all items count, even third-party items, DVDs, etc. Thank you! PS. Interesting fact: September of 2006 was the highest paying month so far, with $90 worth of sales for that month from CDUniverse. I wonder why that was?

Y'know Jim. I didn't want to say anything, but when I saw you guys play up in Baltimore I did raise an eyebrow when you were doing this Liberace move on the keyboard, in an attempt to disguise the fact that you were switching cds in the sound system behind you. I should have known -- Joe and Randy not only sounded like Grant Green and Ben Dixon, it WAS Green and Dixon! I'm going to have to work on that move to make it more "seamless". Damn!
