Flying out today to play the Mountain Stage tomorrow with Janiva Magness. We're on the same bill as Bela Fleck. That's pretty cool! Then Monday we're doing Woodsongs in Lexington. And then back home. Just a quick trip this time.

Had a great day in the studio yesterday finishing up the mastering for Greg Nagy's upcoming third album (which I produced, engineered, mixed, played on, sang on, and wrote tunes for) and then mixed two THEO songs. We added some pretty disturbing little noises to the middle section of The Game Of Ouroborus, including some subtle Buchla Electronic Musical Instruments craziness... bits of headphone candy. Two weeks to go on the crowdfunding campaign for THEO. Need some mo' folks to get onboard.

I don't get people who write negative posts on other people's artist pages. I just deleted a comment from someone on the THEO sampler post that exclaimed, "Wow, this is terrible." Thanks for your unwanted and unwarranted opinion, buddy. I could say the exact same thing about your "photography" that I saw on your page. Well, I wouldn't say it was terrible but certainly amateurish, cliché, and lacking any individual vision. But I don't post that on your stuff because I'm not an asshole. ...

Today I'm a bit freaked out. I'm wary of my PledgeMusic campaign falling short of the goal (and thus being unsuccessful). And at the same time, I'm scared of it being successful because of all the work that it entails. In the next few weeks I need to mix an hour of immensely complex and multi-layered music in both stereo AND surround (I've never mixed in surround before), finalize the artwork, create a bank of specialized patches for the PX5s, do the same for the XK1c, order t-shirts, sticke...

Lately, I've been inviting people to check out THEO via Private Message and lo and behold, those people are now in my feed again. Facebook's algorithm is messed up.
