ss1 congrats! Yes, by all means buy that baby! I got an A100 for $200 awhile ago but my wife wouldn't let me keep it. I sold it to a buddy of mine for what I paid, since he's a good friend and poor as hell. He turned around a sold it for a profit to pay for work on another organ of his (which is fine) but I wish I still had it. Beautiful tone. I agree with Soul Stream, a Leslie would be nice, but you don't really need one. You can get the Larry Young vibe without it!
You said you're not patient. You have to be to learn any instrument. Fool around with it, listen to records, noodle around, but if you're serious don't give up. They are hard instruments to play but if you keep at it, one day it'll click.
