  1. Congrats to MSU. I'm not into sports much anymore, but always nice to see the Spartans win. I'm working on music so I didn't see the game.

  2. Done. Keep 'em coming.
  3. Not sure why that thread was pinned. Any others?
  4. Leslie STOP is still imparting the sound of Hammond's cabinet emulations to the sound. If you wanted to make a direct comparison between the 1/4" output and the 8pin DIN output, you'd have to make sure the BYPASS is engaged on the 1/4" output.
  5. Only a week to go. Need help. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/307717482/greg-nagy-recording-project
  6. Yes of course the 1/4" outputs sound different due to the Leslie sim. If you bypassed the Leslie sim on each patch, the two outputs would sound the same. I use the 8pin DIN output with a custom cable to the Vent because I like to control the Vent from the SK's buttons and the halfmoon.
  7. Thank you, David! SS1, probably Daddy James.
  8. I guess it's time to go to bed. Been up mixing / auditioning Pultec emulation plugins. The Waves Puigtec is pretty good but the Softtube PEC-1 has something special going on. And their Bass Amp Room plug-in is really slick.

  9. Thinking about switching the Big O Store, my label's store, over to bandcamp from zen-cart. Thoughts?

  10. A good tube preamplifier is never a bad idea.
  11. Need some more good folks to dive in.
  12. I manually validate all accounts. Sometimes they look very legit and it turns out they are not. It can be hard to tell. I obviously made a mistake on a couple recently.
  13. I just added some code from Invision that should solve the problem. They recommend clearing your cache. Let me know if it works. I'm posting this from IE11 and the quote function appears to be working now.
  14. I always try to do the right thing. Oftentimes it feels like an uphill battle. Making a living as a musician is getting more and more difficult. When I get a bit down, like today, I think about all the people who appreciate what I'm doing and to all of you I'd just like to express my gratitude. Thank you. If somehow I woke up tomorrow and money didn't matter at all anymore, I'd still be doing the same thing; tuning pianos, making music, enjoying my family, and doing my best to help others m...

  15. Is this an issue with IE11 or with the forum software? There's a new version of the software but the queue for upgrading is 8 days.
  16. Thank you! I'm very proud of the sound and it appears from all the comments I've received that I achieved my goal, which was a modern take on the 60s vibe.
  17. Ah, good to know. Thanks. FLAC files are weird. But so far, the few problems I've heard concerning the ones I've distributed for both this project and the organissimo project have been instances of 'operator error' on the user side. With the exception of my mistake with Ding Dong above.
  18. I have to go now. My planet needs me.

  19. I haven't fixed the Ding Dong mistake yet. I also just discovered the DVD cuts off 90 seconds before the actual end. Ugh. Debating how to fix that one without putting myself even more in debt.
  20. Yes, thank you! That was a pleasant surprise and very useful.
  21. My deepest condolences to you.
  22. I just downloaded the file from the link I sent and decoded and I don't hear any skips. The first song, however, is wrong. I accidentally exported Dirty Fingers (alt take) twice and mislabeled it as Ding Dong. Oops. I'll fix that and re-upload. But I didn't have any problems decoding the file.
  23. Video buffs: I want to render 90 minutes worth of material for internet delivery. What's the best format / render settings? I tried the standard "Internet Video" settings in Sony Vegas and the resulting file was 19GB. That's far too big. Suggestions?

  24. Bumpus! A little teaser track in Greg's update: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/307717482/greg-nagy-recording-project/posts
