I also still like a lot of Michael Franks stuff as well. I do tuck the cds far into my cabinet, and I don't listen to them anymore, but I might go back to them later on... O' the shame... -_-

If taken in small to moderate doses, I can actually listen to muzak with some degree of pleasure.

The new name could well end up sounding like an order: "Charter One Citizen"! I'd bank on it...

Believing in UFOs would be a big stretch for me. I'm sure there's intelligent life out there somewhere, but I'm with JLar regarding the difficulty of interstellar travel. Also, if we are visited so often, why don't they actually land their craft and try to make contact? The scenario of an earth sightseeing interstellar trip is really far fetched. If we are ever visited, I hope they can pick up some of the radio signals from some of our poster's radio shows: "Hmm, what are these delightful sounds they call jazz?" B)

Don't look for any significance in bank names. Many of the names are amalgamations to reflect the numerous mergers and acquisitions within the banking system. The bank I work for (Charter One) has just merged with a Citizens bank prominent in New England. Our name will eventually be modified to reflect the new entity. Our bank had several names before we became "Charter One."

Would love to hear (and see) Joe and the boys do "Brasil" as Jobim did in "Stone Flower." The percussion on that song is incredible. Would love to see Randy tackle it. Jobim's spare electric keyboard touches weave in and out like some sultry Latin dancer. Man, that song would get anybody HOT! Reminds me of my tropical roots too.
