True. Maybe Frank had some spontaneous RVG moments with his reel-to-reel? 😁 I think some of the Showboat recordings have been on the bootleg market for a while, but I don't know if those are Tiberi recordings or not.
I'd be down with that. I'm guessing we'll see vinyl, however.

An aside: When I see the name "Frank Tiberi," I don't think of Coltrane recordings at all. Instead, I think of Tiberi's transcribed tenor solo on Chick Corea's "La Fiesta" from Woody Herman's Giant Steps album. My high school jazz band (this was eons ago) played that chart (the actual Herman chart), and Tiberi's solo was written out as an option for the tenor player to use as a solo. My director said, "Yeah, you should learn that solo." I did, and it was weird for a 16 year-old. I didn't understand what I was doing at all, and had no idea how Tiberi was handling the changes. 😅
Here's the track. Tiberi's solo begins at 2:08. Listening to it now, I only remembered the first four bars. (Our band did not play the tune this fast.) It's a good chart though!
