  1. Current poll results - 50 votes, 27 yes, 15 no...would seem to indicate that Dan didn't notice that 'no" is a loosing vote right now.
  2. I freely admit that this is a dumb idea for a thread. Nah...not as dumb as endlessly debating the possibility of a Classical music forum.
  3. looks pretty darn slick...
  4. It would be in a forum with other like minded subjects. Maybe you explain your logic, because I really don't see it. Guy Don't worry about it, I'm not sure I even follow my logic at this point. It's been a long week.
  5. ..as if the Earth is going to flip on it's axis and head for the Sun, if a Classical forum gets created.
  6. That thread will be big no matter what forum it's in. Guy But if it has it own forum, I can just go there and flip through it. Funny Rat = 7025 responses! (right now), that's fun...as if this is a real critical issue. I don't understand what your point is here. You can go and flip through it no matter what forum it's in. Guy Easier navigation. The "what classical music are you listening to?" thread is currently 1120 posts long. Is there any reason to believe that it would be shorter if it was in a different forum? Guy It would be in a forum with other like minded subjects.
  7. never mind...I thought this was a Dr. Who question.

http://www.melsdrive-in.com/ Now that I looked it up, I realize I ate there last time I was in town. Had lunch, walked back to Rods studio and took an afternoon nap.

  11. I work at home, so I listen to what ever I want. But I do have to visit customers occasionally and I wear head phones now. I'm sick of people offering their opinion on music in the workplace...as if I really care.
  12. That's what I do as well, using "View New Posts" or "Todays Active Topics". If that's how you keep up with the board, it almost doesn't matter which forum a thread is in. Me too. Then why a separate forum? Like Funny Rat, the What Classical music are you listening to? thread is too big to search through.

no, this was much further east on highland avenue, south of the hollywood bowl. I thought Highland is a North/South road.

A copy of For Derek/For Bags, his last vinyl only release showed up at DMG the same day we found out about Rod. I have it here at home now, complete with the shipping box and a note to Bruce G.

LA County DA press release. I guess so, I've only visited LA. * * * http://biink.com/poole I've added comments and information on contacting the LA county DA to tell them about Rod. I could use any photos to be added to the site. All I have is the one I took of Rod performing at DMG a few years ago and he's at work performing, his face isn't showing.
  20. Happy Birthday Larry, you crack me up.
  21. Another bright mind off to rot in prison.
  22. That's not good news. I'd been going there quite a bit in the past year or so.
  23. In the old days, back when I was in town (NYC) a lot and I was still getting a lot of exercise, I used to walk from 25th st down to Tower in the Village quite a bit.
  24. I just flew in from NYC...and boy, are my arms tired. Happy Birthday!
  25. Oh yeah, take the easy way out...
