Yeah, you gotta get in, do the hard work, practice and play alot if you want your chops back. Sometimes a teacher isn't the answer. Go back and work your way through the old material again.

Two fine albums. Isn't Ornette on Tales? I can't get to the album to check.

I've met Andy Aledort a few times. He did most of the transcriptions in the Hendrix books. I heard a recording of him playing them with the Band of Gypsies at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame. He nails that shit, a real exciting rock guitarist to hear live. Since is this from Guitar World, it's probably edited by Jimmy Brown. He's killer player too, edits all the transcriptions for the magazine.

Since Sunday, I found out Comcast added some more chanells to my cable. One on them is ABC+. Like It Is in on at 9pm every night (at least every weeknight). I'll keep an eye on it folks! I'm hoping to see a re-run I can tape.

Apparently the recording sessions were videoed, so you never know... ← Now we're talkin'!

Hopefully they'll play a couple of reunion gigs and release box set and a DVD. I have a dream...

So am I. Everybody seems to mention audacity.com as a free program capable of doing this. I've been unable to muster the brain power and time necessary to download it and learn how to use it. ← I have copy but never got around to learning how to use it. I just tried again and it uses the Microsoft sound mapper. I can't find that on Win XP. I'll try again later when I have more time.

How lean is it? I was eating Buffalo for while because it was so much leaner than Cow, but someone else discovered it at the market and the bin is always empty.
