  3. The legendary Johnny Smith is always described as an amazing musician that does impossible things on the guitar. There's been a discussion about him on the Yahoo Jazz guitar list for the last few days.

  5. I should get the the Johnny Smith set. I've been putting it off because I didn't want to spend the money, which is silly because I spent even more at J&R Music just a few weeks ago. Nothing stopped me then!
  6. I played my fretless G&L S500 a lot the first two years I had it, then not. Too busy playing fretted guitar if I'm playing at all.
  7. John Scofield - Still Warm I was surprised to find a sealed copy of this in the store last week, I was so sure it was long out of print. I bought it on vinyl when it came out, I haven't heard it in years! Protocol 'n' Techno are old favorites.

Favorites include: Foxtrot, Selling England by the Pound, A Trick of the Tail, Wind & Wuthering, …And Then There Were Three…, Genesis Live (the 1st one) and Seconds Out. I was just listening to Seconds Out this afternoon.
