My copy has thumbtack holes in the corners of the opened gatefold from where the thumbtacks went to pin it up on the wall back in the day. Can't say that I blame the original owner.... I was the original owner! My roommates proposed the "pinup" idea, and I had no reason to resist, so up on the wall it went. The back cover is as attractive as the front, btw, although Sports Car Bunky (that's what I call it, anyway, even if there's not a car in sight) on the inside is a riot.

I see them mostly on the main board index, but they'll turn up anywhere. It's kind of weird when you're in the office, scrolling down reading a thread, and then this is down at the bottom of the page. That's precisely why I don't look at the sexy album covers thread at work, I know what to expect there, and it might not be the best of things to show up on a 17" monitor that anybody can see walking by. But these google ads, there's no predicting where they'll be, and the photos do stand out, small as they are. So hey:

I don't have any google accounts, and I haven't been clicking on any of the google ads. I don' t click on ads, period. I've cleared all the cookies, several time, actually, and the Snets just keep on coming, making themselves right to home.

The only clicking open the adds I've been doing is right-clicking to save the images for editing/cropping to for use here. Also, my work laptop constantly gets the same images, and I don't do anything on that one except work and pop in here. If this turns out to not be the case, ok. Otherwise..

What is definitely getting out of control is the number of dating sites populating in GoogleAds. It was mentioned at the onset of this program that certain ads or type of ads could be blocked if it was so requested, but so far requests have been made and no ads have been blocked. The images posted here are all lifted directly from the Single Snet ads I see every dam time I come to this board, and if they're not designed to provoke a "leering" response, I don't know for what they are designed. So, what live music are you going to see tonight?
