  5. What's the deal there?
  6. Well, like the song didn't say but should have - "Everything old is still old"...
  7. Yeah, but what bothers me is the image of people 50 years from now making tribute albums to tribute albums...
  8. I'm sure the Martino will be just swell, but really - another "tribute" album? And by somebody who's worthy of a tribute themselves? Sorry, but for my tastes, "tribute" and/or "concept" albums are soooo latter-20th century and sooooooo Verve. Yeah, it's "good music" usually, but still... Bring on the original material, and/or the "non-conceptual" presentations. Enough is enough!

  15. Yes, I believe he is. Yes, I agree, No, I don't think he has.
  16. Einstein gets around, doesn't he? I remember him from the Smothers Brothers show, and who doesn't remember Super Dave? One of those guys who can be counted on to consistenly deliver the goods in a very understated manner that ends up being all the funnier precisely because of its understatedness.
  17. "Kamikaze Bingo" was the episode's official title, I believe. Mark my words - history will record this as one of the greatest episodes of televison comedy ever. Bar none. So many disparate threads, each experty developed independently, and then, at the very last possible second, BAM!!!, they all come together in a collision (literally!) of cosmic inevitability. I laughed out loud harder than I have in years the first time I saw it, and still have the same reaction upon re-viewings. It's one of those rare moments where laughter is a true reflex, not an act of social signifying. Genius and craftsmanship of the highest level (and in every regard) at every step of the way are the trademarks of this show, and, imo, they reached an apex in this episode. It just don't get any better.
  18. She is cute. ← Not normally my "type", but as is often the case, the personality she (or more accurately, her character) projects sets the imagination afire, and then all bets are off. Whoever said that the brain was the biggest erogenous zone of them all certainly had my number!

  21. The name Lee Katzman sounds familiar, but from where, I don't know. Something vaguely "Chicago-ian" about it...
  22. About a month ago, i played at a wedding where one of the bridesmaids looked like a 21 year old Cheryl Hines. I couldn't stand up for a week...
