  5. Long way to go, but right now they're playing well together and enjoying it together. And I like the way that Bochy rolls. So... I'm watching games again, which I would not be doing unless there were good games being played! Barring major injuries, and assuming that the bullpen tightens up, I think it'll be a good season. Its about time!

  7. Rookie Rangers reliever Grant Anderson strikes out 7 of 9 in his MLB debut tonight, including the first four he faced. Nice!
  8. I was a bit underwhelmed, but was nevertheless engaged and entertained
  9. Very fond of Waterloo in general here! And on any given day, strawberry can be my favorite.

  14. This is a great read so far. Henry's details of working first in a church and then with a travelling evangelist while all the while working with his composer curiosity.. it makes so much sense.
  15. A 21st Century Spiritual BeastBlend of Natalie Wood & Elaine May (she's getting a head start on the latter). Chalk up one for the 21st Century! Or not.

  17. Not particularly, unfortunately. But Clifford sounds great!
  18. Ok, John Clark then. Makes sense. Tom Varner didn't fell right I like John Clark a lot more, then and now. And I do remember Ehrlich now, I knew there was somebody else up there. But I have no recollection of Parran whatsoever. So Ehrlich was on clarinet and Lancaster was on bass clarinet. Very distinctly remember that because it had no bell. An odd visual but a great sound. And definitely James Newton on flute. You don't forget that! So yes, that's my final answer - Jenkins slightly front and center, with L-R behind him being , Clark, Newton, Ehrlich and Lancaster. Very strong group.
