  8. when i play a mono lp w/ my stereo needle? what audio disadvantages are there?
  9. forgot to put in, in my limited knowdlege with only 20 or 25 such lp items to my possession, i cant say for sure, but i'm pretty sure its an item from the infamous Boris Rose jazz nut extrodinaire/ but you can never be sure. did any of u guys ever buy his records in the ad in the back of the downbeat. did they have money orders back then? you should of mailed a money order in and bought some of these things. did any of you ever buy one of these in a store 2nd hand or buy one firsthand from the source.

  11. id be hard pressed if even 1/4 of blue note cds were done right from a master tape....like the best example is song for my father, whatever tape they're using for the issues is messed up. i would be interested to know what went down the late 80s/early 90s or whenever they mastered all those blue note cds. does anyone here know the history of blue note cd masterings?

  21. well it wasnt necessarily a bootleg, but it was one of those session that popped up on a number of different labels, and just whored out to whomever wanted to press a copy, the one in particular was Santa monica civc aud. from i believe the early 50s...
  22. wasnt this his last BN till the 80s? whats it like? is it seriously only on lp and in the mosaic? never a singlular cd issue? is it good, whats it sound like?
