  1. today i met this black dude who i thought was not a day older then 46.......but actually he really is 81 years old! he is hella old. didn't look a day over 46. did freddie hubbard die at age seventy beacuse of "the '70s"? as far as partying too much, and it being the 70s, etc..

  4. like johnny paycheck and charlie mccoy. i was just telling everybody on the steve hoffman fourms all about em, thought id share it with my Org. buds here: they are so cool got em at goodwill, 10 c. ea/ there all carts except ONE cassette: Yes-Fragile!!! duplicated by Cirq sounds, Reno Nevada-----a new mastering of Fragile for me to listen to tonite!!!! only 1 side has a label on it, and the cassette still has its record stubs in, you know those little plastic ones...

  8. i have a flash doo wop comp. lp with the history of the label--ill try n dig it up.....i always asso. plas with tampa- but he very could have had involvment, i dont know.... its mostly doo-wop. really really good south central LA doo wop

SIDE STORY: the time i met conte, c. 2000 or 01, it was before the smoking ban in reastatruants, and he was smokin this huge-ass, big 'ol cigar, this whoppin' like 10x size giant cigar- he was so cool

  17. how are cds and cdrs different? how are commercial cds pressed to the the music on them anyways, if they aren't like "burned" like u do when "burning" a cd-r as they say....now are these commercial ones printed like a real cd, or is it just totally, totally sketch, like my Korean pressing of "Inna-Gadda-Da-Vida"

  24. god bless you fletcher henderson greatest big band leader of all time/ in tribute i wanna give a first listen to this lp i got a few weeks ago (where did i put it?) its fletcher henderson on piano with sindey bechet- its from some "legendary" (?) concert in Michigan in the early 1950's. Must of been a radio broadcast cause my record is undoubtly of Boris Rose-related origin. got it for .99 cents- anyone know this one?
