Crazy Tuba Guy. I can't say I ever had a fondness, or particularly cared, for him- but never would I have wished this fate upon him, and I do feel very bad. at the ballet, like at swan lake for example, there was crazy tuba guy, playing the bass part by himself outside after the show. Bom-Bom Bom Bom BOm boooooom bom bom- he was also in front of every rock concert at the colliseum and apparently he also made every sports event too, both at the seattle center as well as the mariners games. the last time i saw crazy tuba guy, it was sans tuba, at ballard bros cajun fish sandwich reastaurant, i looked up, saw him in his trademark funny hat, and thought "oh god, its crazy tuba guy". queen anne neighbourhood where this happneed is not exactly the heart of urban downtown, and it is very shocking that this happened right there. on a day to day basis you never see shit like that. a gang of 15 yr old boys....my god. they had to kill crazy tuba guy. fucking bullshit

i want to hear an update on this thread as soon as possible: i want to know what happened w/ mart turners surgery. thread starter: would you be so kind to re-inqure about the surigery? but as sad as i am at mark turner i am equally mad at him. what was he doing, making a bird-house or something? whatever he was doing, he should of been practicing. im sure john coltrane would agree with me -

ithink i know about it: lord and Bruebhnieuex are two competeting discography books (on cd-rom now) and they contain every record immaginable-- how they complied them, i have no idea...is it just thrown together from a different source for each record label, or what is truly up with how they came about producing these books/disks? i also remember hearing that its like 900 dollars for every volume like A-C, D-F, Q-V, etc.....

mr big beat: you say crown records nuts DO exist---- you mean besides me? have you encoutered others of the breed as well? i swear to god im not in the wrong on this one, loving crown so much. i first started to notice them at goodwills and other thrift stores. so many of them. then i figured out all about the connection to legitimate LA west coast jazz/blues/RandB scene, and that just plan sealed the deal for me hey did u ever have a chance 2 report back on those RCA victor sides? im much interested in tracking those down. I kicked myself for weeks last summer i passed up this TEEN QUEENS crown lp for .99 cents, i heard its a real rare one. but whatever its not as good as the Isley Bros one i bet

i am going to start seeking out these sort of Riverside dates. Back in T-town they had a promo copy of the Earl Hines one, complete with sort sort of little postcard about the album of some sort. I'm sure its still there, but probably 75 big ones -

actaully the only fiction author i ever read multiple books from without being forced to. when i was real young and after the jarrasic movie came out, i read a few of the books- they were easy to read and exciting i guess, but now that i know that fiction, is the greatest charrade of humankind, he'll remain the only author ive read forever -

yes, you have enlightened- but i still think its kinda funny how almost the exact same situations that happened 40 + yrs ago at Columbia Records, happen in our workplaces today. Your story makes perfect sense to me beacuse I too have witnessed similar behaviors. Recently John Hammonds son came into down for a concert. I would of gladly kicked him in the balls for you. It would of been an honor -
you saw missing persons in LA in the early 80s? AWESOME!!!
