chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez replied to chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez's topic in Discography
is this what bird would of done had he made it to the 70s?? i'd like to think so! -
it was 24.99 big ones and i still might go back and do it- but wanted to ask if its on cd domesically- couldnt find it on a search but wanted to ask if its out there-- it is seriously the coolest thing ive ever heard cannon do- it makes LIVE/EVIL or miles @ filmore seem like a little mensturating schoolgirl sitting ontop of a toadstool contemplating the universe. THE #1 THING I THOUGHT ABUOT WHEN PLAYING IT: CANNON COULUD OF TOTALLY STAYED IN MILES BAND THRU THE 70s IF HE WANTED. WHEN HE TAKES A SOPRANO SOLO, I WAS THINKING THAT.

it is very funky w/ rhodes and organ and horns and background vox etc- very weird lookin lp, picked it up for 99 cents--- anyone familar with this?

I REMEMBVER BACK IN THE EARLY 90S WHEN THIS TOWER OUTLET STORE WAS DOIN A CLOSING LIQUIDATION AND IT WAS THE FINAL DAYS. I FOUND A COPY OF WHISTLE STOP W/ A BROKEN CASE FOR 80% OFF- MY 1ST HANK CD (WELL CD "WITH" HANK)--- ANYWAYS, THE STORE WAS A MESS, SHIT WAS THROWN EVERY WHICH WAY ALL OVER THE PLACE- YOU COULD BASICALLY TAKE A CRAP-PILE TO THE COUNTER W/ YOU AND PAY FOR IT ALL W/ LIKE A 5.
