hi everybody chewy chew chew on the scene here- i have a lot of these on cassette, 8-track, and LP. the Tatum is amazing. i dont care what anyone says its a superb compilatoin. have that one on Track AND cassette. the lp sets can still be pricy but the tape ones ive gotten for as low as a quarter a set-- for reals. chuck nessa: what do u mean about unhappy w/ the outcome? what should of been different? the discographys are always complete n stuff....i just dont like that stupid cartoon photo that comes w/ it and that stupid letter from time/life.

yea yea poor selection for sheldon who only wants to buy unreleased ECM master tapes, but for the rest of us 1/2 price books is great. ive found made great jazz items there, for truly "half price!" I like buying my Susan Surrandon videos and my Jazz in the same place.

tulas should be called Crap-las instead. even if you get there at 1:15 am they charge you a 13 dollar cover charge to hear the jazz. they mostly book the same local acts over and over, who i would be more than happy to go see if it didn't cost nearly as much as the village vanguard.
