  1. again? Oh, sorry. I'm not up to date.
  2. http://www.subservientchicken.com/
  3. Do yourself a favor and get rid of your turntables.
  4. Another reason to avoid the dentist for another 19 years. 1985 was not a good year.
  5. This is maybe not really goofy, so please don't be offended. http://www.haydenplanetarium.org/hp/vo/du/download.html For example: after running the partiview.exe file, open 3-D_Constellation_Modeling, click "path" and load the /data/activities/orbit_orion.wf file and click play. I don't know anything about this stuff but it looks nice.
  6. To give those in the building a chance to leave it.
  7. After PFunk debunked the typical Organissimo member, I don't see why this took guts.
  8. Fuck, missed this.
  9. Mraz was mentioned earlier in this thread.
  10. I work for 'a major software company.' I don't know how Invision, or any software company, can expect to sell new versions of its software if the user can't convert the old data to the new version. I'd expect Invision would provide a way to convert the data. I'm much happier with this 'old' version of the Invision software than the new version of vBulletin (used by AAJ and Jazzcorner). Isn't this stuff shareware? http://www.invisionboard.com/download.cgi?subc=trial
  11. To pick up any used Waller vinyl/CDs you can find.
  12. Gauloises or Marlboro?
  13. They keep ya regular They're real good for ya
  14. Plus, I'm not sure if it is Swallow's or Cranshaw's goal to get an acoustic sound. Swallow doesn't sound acoustic to me. He achieved this distinctive tone that you hardly can get with an acoustic bass. I'm glad Swallow went electric.
  15. I think this comes close: http://sg1.allmusic.com/cg/smp.dll?link=9t...yp5h4k&r=20.asx http://sg1.allmusic.com/cg/smp.dll?link=yo...lu56vd&r=20.asx From an economical point of view: I'm learning to play the upright bass and taking the instrument to my lessons is a pain. Can't imagine how it must be to travel around the globe with this thing (plus the costs). Maintenance could also be an issue (i.e. repairs).
  16. Ah, some consistent opinions here. http://www.organissimo.org/forum/index.php...t=0entry95571 Electric dislikers: what about EUB players like E. Weber?
  17. saw this one and pulled some levers, may have to look after them. I'll visit some music stores tomorrow.
  18. RayDK, discs arrived this morning. Thanks very much!
  19. I only have the CD. Maybe this helps:
