What codec are you using for the mp4 files? It encodes in both AAC and ALAC. If you want full lossless audio, you need to make sure you're encoding with ALAC. I personally cannot hear the difference, but for archival purposes I'd be lying if I said that I don't use lossless.

Whatever you celebrate, and however you choose to celebrate it, I hope each and every one of you have an excellent holiday season. We do Christmas in the Dolan household, even though we aren't Christian by any stretch of the imagination. Aside from the fascist Steve Hoffman board, this one is one of the most impressive on the intertubes. Still has a huge following with a lot of daily posters/postings. I'm still impressed each and every morning when I log in to find two pages of new content. The online bulletin board may be dead in theory, but all you cats prove that it isn't dead in practice. My hat is off for each and every one of you. It's a pub that will never shutter. I've been working my ass off to make myself a better online person. Seriously. I hope I've made some positive strides, but won't rest on whatever laurels I've potentially earned. And to those I previously offended, I offer only actions, not words. Today was a really bad day for football in the Dolan household. Three incredibly crappy and forgettable games. Though, my son and I both find it really odd that there has been no snow game yet this season. It's rare to get this late into the season without at least one.

My wife and I usually spent Christmas at her father's house when we still lived in Florida, and being Italian he always made meatballs (the size of baseballs), Italian sausage, ravioli, and garlic bread. His daughter has now made that her "traditional" Christmas dinner as well.

And that's why I bail on bullshit sites like that. Back to the original subject, Netflix is great for tv series. Not so great for movies. I try to watch some on the weekend, and I always have a ton of stuff in my queue. I find that it's worth the nine or ten bucks we pay a month. Their streaming quality is occasionally an issue, but certainly not a deal breaker.

What is with the goddamn slide shows that sites over use these days?! How fucking annoying. Just print the goddmn list!
