  1. I subscribe to it and find it to be a useful reference. I find some of the formatting to be a little confusing at times, but otherwise I do not have any complaints. Same here. A very useful tool! Don't know of any online equivalent. No complaint. Whenever I notice an item that is missing or contains errors, I just send an email addition/correction.
  2. A shame! The only exception is the one track by Roques 'Le Temps' which showed up on a Saravah CD compilation.
  3. Randy Weston 'Well You Needn't - Portraits of Thelonious Monk' (Verve EU)
  4. Ribery and Evra's behaviour during the World Cup was a total disgrace. The may be good players but yhey never should have been allowed back into the national team They should be in the same boat as Domenech.

  7. Howard McGhee 'Jazz Brothers' (Jazzcraft) secondhand copy that bears Charlie Rouse's 'Best Wishes'!
  8. Not Preminger but Emeric Pressburger, Powell's alter ego! Great film, also shown last week on TV on this side of the Channel!
  9. Hope the birthday was a great one
  10. Actor Farley Granger who starred in some of the best films by Alfred Hitchcock, Nicholas Ray, Luchino Visconti and others died Sunday in New York. Obituary in The Los Angeles Times.

  13. No. Wish they were!
  14. Art Pepper 'My Laurie' (Trio/Kenwood)
  15. Thanks for the input. Now I know what Sesjun stands for and which sets to look for!

  17. The Butch Warren French 5tet CD is being released these days... Butch Warren CD
  18. Is that an original Debut issue Brownie? Or one of those numbered limited edition 70s/80s reissues? Don't think I've ever seen that one (although at least one of the tracks is on the Debut Story CD set). My copy is an original Debut. Cover is OK but there are a couple of scratches that mar the listening. Great music. This was purchased at the first record convention I attended back in the early 80s. Price was pretty cheap!
