  9. I was arrested in Bracketville, Texas (near Del Rio) for possession a long time ago. The cops wouldn't let me make a phone call for three days, and they wouldn't give me any information about when I'd get a hearing or anything. I thought I'd be there for the rest of my life. I was scared out of my wits. Needless to say, I've got a thing about Texas and cops.

    Fine date; Monk program; all tenor. My favorite date with Davis on baritone is the aforementioned Dorham JAZZ CONTEMPORARY... which also, IMO, has some of the finest KD on record. And there's a recent Japanese issue that adds bonus tracks. Thanks man.
