Comin' On was one of my first jazz albums. $1.99 mono in 1968 or '69. I picked up the first one soon after.

Fantastic! Do you remember some names and record labels to go with the faces?

I think the lack of maturity was a selling point! I loved that album! One of the last LPs I loved before I switched over to CDs.

The first album with Coltrane is a favorite of mine. Was the Sextet/Quintet album with Jackie McLean from 1955 as well?
