I was planning to bid again close to the end, but I didn't. It was too much money for me. I will wait for the next one. Soulstation1, Are you willing to part with yours? -

I am bidding on this. I hope I will win (at reasonable price). -
I am unloading some of my Mosaic box sets at ebay. Everything is in mint condition. All CDs are still sealed. Blue Mitchell Curtis Fuller Lee Morgan & Wayne Shorter Paul Chambers & Wynton Kelly Lennie Tristano, Lee Konitz & Warne Marsh

I also like "Chasin' the Gypsy" very much. It is probably his best effort. I think "Jurrasic Classics" has to be one of his best, too.

I used Square Trade once when the 1 cent CD seller didn't send me what they described for the auction. Square Trade didn't do any good. The seller just blocked me from bidding. -
I am a huge fan of Sakamoto. I like this group as well. Their Jobim CD is superb!

Hope you are having a wonderful day so far. Happy Birthday!!! -
That's a sad news. I liked that store. I was buying only sale items, so I wasn't helping their business very much. I wonder what happens to a credit (only a few bucks) in my account.

Then it seems like you would support the idea of this guy paying for the kid. Think about how much easier things would've been for your mother had your father given that financial support. Yes, financial support from my father would probably been helpful. But that's the arrangement my parents made, and I am O.K. with that. The guy should take a responsibility of his action. No doubt. All I wanted to say was he should have gotten the same right as the woman he slept with. It seems like that it is always women's choice to decide if they want to keep a baby or not. That's all. Maybe I am misunderstaing the story...
-
Actually, I am on this guy's side. He should have options particularly since he didn't want a child in the first place. If she wants to raise their child, that's fine. But I think she must be willing to take finacial responsibility. I know it was't easy, but my mother raised me and my brother without any financial support from my father.

My connection is only 1184 kbps download and 292 kbps upload. I am paying only $20/month for DSL, so I can't complain... -
It was recorded in Columbia, Missouri when I lived there. Although I was supposed to get an invition for this fund-raising concert, I didn't get one. I am still upset about this since Bobby Watson was (is) my favorite alto player. But even if I did, I probably couldn't afford $200 ticket anyway. I was a poor graduate student back then. I got this CD, but haven't listened to it, yet. But I would imagine that any Jazz Messengers fan would probably want this CD. So, I am passing along the information. You can order one from here. The CD with shipping is a bit expensive, but it is for a good cause. For your information, only 2000 copies are pressed for a limited edition release.
-
I also like Freddie on "Free For All" a lot, but I am not sure that is the greatest trumpet album.
-
Wow! More money going to Mosaic... I hope those are not limited editions. I am already having hard time keeping up with their reissues.

Congratulations!!! -
OT: What happens to all of the championship memorabilia that gets printed pre-game for the team that ends up losing? When the Seahawks win, where does all of that "Steelers, World Champs" stuff go? Do any pieces ever end up on the market? I think those stuff would be shipped off to developing countries. If I remember correctly, I heard this in 60 Minutes.

I am an AFC guy, so I will go with Steelers!!!

Thank you, Eric!!! My wife and I just went out to look for a print version. It took us a while to locate one, though. We went to a grocery store, Starbucks, Border's etc. Finanlly, we got two copies at Marriott Courtyard. I am glad we went out to get a printed copy. A Paul Motian photo I took was in Section D1. A tiny photo with a tiny credit. But I am so excited to have my photo on the national newspaper!
