You asked for it! http://www.psiberaudio.com/iPod_3.htm

Yeah, it looks that way to me as well. But don't get me started on car audio; why people would spend major buckage for a stereo that's placed in such a noisy environment is beyond me anyway... ← .... but if you live in Alaska, a tube amp under your seat, is a great idea.

"Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn!"
porcy62 replied to Alfred's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Nice, but what about the followin quotes from Leone's movies? From 'A fistful of dollars' Joe: When a man's got money in his pocket he begins to appreciate peace. Joe: The heart, Ramone. Don't forget the heart. Aim for the heart, or you'll never stop me. From 'Once Upon a Time in the West' Morton: Not bad. Congratulations. Tell me, was it necessary that you kill all of them? I only told you to scare them. Frank: People scare better when they're dying. Frank: How can you trust a man who wears both a belt and suspenders? The man can't even trust his own pants. Harmonica: The reward for this man is 5000 dollars, is that right? Cheyenne: Judas was content for 4970 dollars less. Harmonica: There were no dollars in them days. Cheyenne: But sons of bitches... yeah. Harmonica: Did you bring a horse for me? Snaky: Well... looks like we're... [snickers] Snaky: ...looks like we're shy one horse. Harmonica: You brought two too many. Harmonica: I saw three of these dusters a short time ago, they were waiting for a train. Inside the dusters, there were three men. Cheyenne: So? Harmonica: Inside the men, there were three bullets. Cheyenne: You know, Jill, you remind me of my mother. She was the biggest whore in Alameda and the finest woman that ever lived. Whoever my father was, for an hour or for a month - he must have been a happy man. Harmonica: So, you found out you're not a businessman after all. Frank: Just a man. Harmonica: An ancient race. Other Mortons will be along, and they'll kill it off. From 'The Good, the Bad and the Ugly': Tuco: I like big fat men like you. When they fall they make more noise. Man With No Name: You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend: Those with loaded guns and those who dig. You dig. Man With No Name: Take off your gun and put on your pants. -
I work (seated) on editing workstation all day, and I am a motorbiker (around 10000 miles per year), so I suffered of back pain. My advise, after a Doctor, is GYM or POOL at least two times per week. Find a good trainer and move your ass, it works for me.

I presume you already knew it, but here you could find all the quote you need. http://us.imdb.com/ And about memorable quotes nobody can beat Sergio Leone's western movies, a part 'Well, nobody's perfect' in 'Some like it hot' -
Interesting information. How do you know when a BN, or any RVG, mono is folded down?

Some questions: Are non americans allowed to vote? Were Sitting Bull, Cochise and Geronimo "americans"? May I vote for a woman?
-
Yeah, listening to "Paranoid" while looking at 'swirl' logo spinning is good....
-
Correct, the only Vertigo's records I have in my collection are the early lp of BLACK SABBATH!
-
With respect to the supposed molested chiledren, but I think the worst thing about it is that we will see a new Michael Jackson's record!
-
Archie Shepp ON THIS NIGHT Impulse! Wl promo, mono I always thought Shepp/Hutcherson interplay was great, actually it's more than that!

If some of you are interested in young trombonists, maybe you should have a listen to this guy http://www.gianlucapetrella.com/ I heard him some weeks ago in a trio with a drummer and an organist (I think he played an original Hammond of late fifties, not really sure) and they smoke. Standards, R'n B, Hard Bop...you name it! Actually I never heard his records as sideman but the concert was great. BTW my vote is for Roswell.

David Crosby - If I could only remember my name Charlie Haden - Liberation Music Orchestra Neil Young - On the beach Miles Davis - KOB John Coltrane - Live at Birdland Keith Jarrett - Koln Concert Jan Garbarek - I took up the runes Sonny Rollins - East Broadway run down Clash - London Calling Rolling Stones - Let it bleed Jackie Mclean - Let freedom ring Thelonious Monk - Monk and Trane Deep Purple - Made in Japan ..... I pass. Too hard for me!

Absurd! The only reason for this is trying to sell a OOP and rare title to an obscure and illegal label of Cayman islands that will produce some illegal and obscure edition of this title.

Sorry Sidewinder, but we are talkin' about a sealed cd, not a vinyl original pressing. http://half.ebay.com/cat/buy/inv.cgi?offer...&domain_id=1876 BTW I would pay 150$ for a mint vinyl right now

really losing faith in medical profession
porcy62 replied to BERIGAN's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Sorry to hear this, Beri. It was the same with my father's illness . I second the above suggestions: fight for your (and your mom's) rights! Medical professionist are human being like everybody, sometimes you have to remind it to them. -
THE CLASH LONDON CALLING CBS UK

Wow! This man has some problems with criticisms. I would like to hear a comment of Chuck about it.

Thanks. Trane's discography on Impulse! is such a mess: Impulse!, Abc Impulse! Grp Impulse! vinyls and cds. It's really hard to get most of Trane's music w/o having dozens of dupes. I wish a Columbia/Davis/Cuscuna treatment for Trane's Impulse! recordings, possibly with Mosaic vinyl editions The discography on the web http://www.jazzdisco.org/trane/dis/c/#610523

I presume that the four volumes of ABC Impulse contain Alternates, Outtakes, Live perfomances that for some reasons where not included in the previous LP. Some of this material appeared in the CD remastered series, am I wrong? Any additional info?

Agreed on all ajf67 comments. Actually I have some Lou Reed's records on RCA's flexy vinyl that sound ok.
