  1. I hate to quote myself but:
  2. Grant Green - Oleo - BN, Japan.
  3. Grant Green - Gooden's Corner - BN, Japan.
  4. Excellent! Digging for my copy of the same to spin it! Shouldn't be too hard, right? It's on the "J" floor of your LP warehouse!
  5. Sonny Rollins - Moving Out - Prestige, 50th NY label
  6. It's in the 'Nouveaux essais sur l'entendement humain (New Essays on Human Understanding), 1704.', later chapters.
  7. Return To Forever - Light As A Feather - Polydor
  8. Cd?
  9. As Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz stated in his fundamental work: Nouveaux essais sur l'entendement humain (New Essays on Human Understanding), 1704. wiki Nothing new under the sun.
  10. Wich kind of records did you play? In my experience when I did a good job on setting antiskating, tracking weight and VTA, I haven't got any bad surprise.
  11. Bill Connors - Theme To The Gaurdian - ECM
  12. 'Barry Lyndon' OST, WB. Need to replace my old copy with a better one.
  13. Deletions in Italy meant that you didn't find the records in the shop anymore period. The remainders, usually pop stuff, ended in the bargain bins, no cut corner or thing like that. As far I can remember.
  14. I don't know wich are my favorite Mingus records, I surely can't choose only three. BUT I remember very well wich were the records that hooked me at times. Black Saint And Sinner Lady It was the proof for me, along with A Love Supreme, that jazz could reach the same level of deep complexity of a symphony. Charles Mingus Quartet plus Max Roach (Mingus At Bohemia) Chazz! (I think it was a Fantasy twoofer) For some unknown reasons I couldn't pass a day without listening at least one side of the album. There were some good energy coming from that music.
  15. Cannonball Adderly - Them Dirty Blues - Riverside, mono
  16. Why in the world would you admit to this, for all the world to see??? Is it a cry for help? Or a cry to locate another BAND GEEEEEEEEEEEEEK like yourself? Dude, start your own thread for crap like this....or, just say what vinyl you are spinning and let Nessa comment on it. Thanks I'm interested in what Jeff has to say. If you're not, just move on to another thread or post. Unless what you posted was an attempt at humor ... ? Yes I am interested too. Do you prefer my collection of original mexican pressings of Paso Doble, dude?
  17. Exactly, almost impossible. I got some red vinyl from indie's italian bands, late 70s early 80s, and they sound...'indie'.
  18. But can you hear 'Paul is dead' on the background?
  19. Wow!!! I can hear it at 47, now I can kill the first one who doubt about my audiophile's skills!
  20. When in the future our great grandchildren will google 'Coltrane' on internet they will got three hundred entries with 'Coltrane, John: saxophone player on Miles Davis' first quintet'.
  21. Do you mean I can change the channel on TV?
  22. Larry Young - Mother Ship - BN
  23. Larry Young - Contrast - BN stereo, US cover, german label, US pressing...craaazy!
  24. Lucky man! I spend a lot of time on the board BECAUSE I am engaged... All the best!
