  3. Does anyone know if this 5 CD set of singles released through the years by Blue Note contain different takes than what was on the albums? Some of the timings are different than what's on the albums. It may be that the 45's were cut down to fit on a side.

  12. The Heath Brothers did get to play about 40 to 50 seconds yesterday. Tootie was fun when Stephen was talking to them. Who was on the Show Monday? Tuesday it was Shorter. Wednesday it was the Heath Brothers. Tonight it is Roy Haynes. Who will it be Friday? The Heath Brothers and the band played, "On the Trail" and "Gingerbread Boy." I don't know what else may have been played on the show.

  14. What an amazing collection of music. Man, Sonny is so good even into his 70s when most of this music was created.
