Two weeks ago I saw Geri Allen at the Vanguard. Jimmy Cobb was supposed to play drums. She said he was ill and we all should send good vibes and hope he gets better. I have a copy of Art Blakey's Big Band. A session from 1957. This tune there is no credit to the composer(s). I looked on allmusic.com and all the jazz recordings of this tune doesn't list the writer. Anyone know who was the composer? I ant to say Al Cohn since he is featured on this track.
