  2. Never cared much for Watson's politics, but it would be way cool to see him capture his 6th Open Title
  3. If you like Pinot have you ever tried a well made Syrah or a Rhone style wine? My tastes tend to run along the lines of bold reds [Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Syrah] and bone dry whites [Fume Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc]. My problem is the wine industry has pretty much priced me out of the wines I really came to enjoy over the years. I would appreciate any suggestions for well made wines that won't break the bank. Thanks!
  4. Not at home he hasn't. I was referring to his first day back playing in LA. And he's still a bum.
  5. Well...I disagree. I just hope Manny goes sideways on the Dodgers. We have a chant in ATT Park that goes like this: Someone shouts: "What's the matter with [insert name]!" The crowd answers: "He's a Bum!" Manny is a bum.
  6. I will always remember his forthrightness and humanity. The day JFK was killed and how he announced it on live TV will stay in my memory forever. Rest in Peace, Mr. Cronkite.
  7. Yes, the board has been a bust. And yes, let's make jazz exclusive to the left! Why stop there though, let's make ALL music exclusive to the left since those on the right obviously do not have the mental capacity or ability to understand the genius of Britney Spears or appreciate Ben Webster. I like how the political opinions of a few on this board that differ from the majority translates into a "intent on taking over Organissimo". You do know you have the ability to type up a response to those "rabid right wingers" rather than wait for folks like Chris to do it, don't you? I help out where I can And welcome back from me too, Chris.
  8. Mannywood is back. And wouldn't you know it? Those Bonds hater Dodgers fans actually had the nerve to cheer his steroid suspension ass. Figures. Hypocrites.
  9. Figures. No Giants fan would stoop so low.
  10. Randy Johnson, meanwhile, inches ever closer to 300. Nice pitching performnance last night.

  15. I heard. Man, and such a young woman, too. They say major surgery. Does anyone know how advanced the cancer is?
  16. Lakers vs Cavs. You heard it here first.

  18. I, for one, hope all is going well in your Life. Been a tough row to hoe for you lately. Go easy, my friend.

  20. Giants and A's aren't far behind.
  21. Speak to Dan, WB3...not my doing. First of all, I agree Bonds took a lot of needless bullshit from the media lynch mob regarding the use of steroids [as if he was the only one (allegedly) using the stuff]. The MLB and it's owners did in fact turn a blind eye. Why that is all Bonds' fault is beyond me. However, the fact he was dirty remains to be proved. Hat size and body bulk do not equate to anything more than pure speculation. He was a [edit] three time MVP and four time Gold Glove winner [totalling seven awards; 4 for fielding] before that alleged steroids season and anyone still laboring under the delusion that steroids make you see the ball better and hit HRs is an idiot. Make no mistake. Of all the convicted and assumed steroids users in and out of the MLB...none hit as many HRs nor were walked as many times as Bonds was.
  22. Well I know I would have a heart attack if just once Dan posted after a loss that the other team had really talented players, maybe just maybe that the other teams player possibly by being really talented got a hit on a 90 mph slider on the black by going the other way with it for a clutch hit or a Red Sox hit that same slider to the warning track and left the winning run on second base that he is also really talented but just got under it and hey its one game, the other team just played a little better or got the breaks today for the win today and we will go get them tomorrow. That will never happen, WB3. He has a hard time accepting the fact his BoSox won the WS with a juiced ManRam...yet he bags on Bonds. So, don't hold your breath. Amazing myopia. Looks like getting to 300 wins is going to be a helluva lot harder than he thought.
  23. So! How 'bout them Lakers, eh?
  24. If the Chinese National Team would stop beating him into the ground, he'd be playing beautifully right now. OTOH.... Go Lakers!!! Don't lose heart, Noj. Lakers basketball, is all.
  25. Now Dan, relax, you just know they're going lose 2 out of three to the Mariners this weekend. Chuck: .429 isn't too bad.... Um. Does anybody besides me see a heart attack waiting to happen here...? Whoa
