  1. Well then....let's revisit, shall we? I get some ding-dong from Tex-ass who thinks being 5 in Germany and then moving to Tex-ass at age 18 equals not figuring him for a ca'boyz fan. Then I get flak from some dipwad who has an issue with typos. Followed by more accusations and insults from some Toledo based patriots fan. I mean fer crissakes, people. Take some personal responsibility here, huh? Gee. Why would I have an issue, Mister connoisseur series500? Maybe I'm not the problem here....eh? Uh....this would be a no brainer, big guy.
  2. Hm. Did I mention I pull for the Patriots, too? My wife is from Connecticut. [d'oh!] A pause while you untie the shoelaces from your eye teeth. Did you happen to mention that in a thread? I mean if you had the notion of actually reading a few of the posts in this very thread where you are trying to annoy the world, you would have known the obvious. Anyway, I'll think of you and piss to your name after we get your lousy team's first rounder. Top 5, you think? I have said this numerous times om the various baseball threads. I mean, everyone here knows my wife is from Connecticut. And back atcha, big boy. Well, I read the threads where I write posts. Who gives a shit about the baseball thread? Baseball is for kids. Them's fightin' words. Baseball is LIFE....everything else is details.
  3. Why not? If I moved to Ohio [Though there are exactly three chances of that ever happening: Fat, slim and none....and Slim is out of town.] I'd pull for the local guys. Does this mean I have to stop supporting the 49er's? sheesh I kinda like the Brownies, but it's a sympathetic kind of love. My exasperation over your assumption that I was a Browns fan was based on the obvious fact that you must have had your head in the sand over the last 3-4 years, as the whole board knows I am a Patriot fan. A cursory read through the pages of this thread would have revealed that. Anyway, no big deal. I would like to see the Browns and Lions have good seasons. But if either play the Patriots, I want them to go DOWN! I'll be sure to write that down since we all know that is so goddammed important to remember. Heavens forbid somebody wouldn't automatically kiss your rosy red, white and blue ass everytime you bend over. Amazing. lol, got a problem, dude? read the very thread you're pissing in. You only need to go back a few posts. Read it. Have you? [hint: read the part I boldfaced....and you're welcome.]

  5. So, you got 1/2 of one question out of 3 correct (or 1 out of 6). You are actually further off on C than you were before, but I'll let that slide. That equates to a .167 batting average. Perhaps you need some steroids like your hero to artificially boost your numbers. I think my logic is quite fine. If you think guessing/assuming and getting a .167 percentage correct makes your decisions sound logically, well, you're clearly not operating on the same playing field as everyone else. And you are clearly hiding the truth of the matter and clouding it with some other such nonsense to cover. Come clean, then. You made the accusations now back it up once, Aggie....or can you? Hm.
  6. So...what is wrong with Grady Little? I dunno, call me spoiled, but don't you have to actually fire the guy before Joe Torre can have a job? Looks like the rumor mill is in full bloom Grady read the tea leaves and "offered his resignation" an hour ago. I seriously doubt that it was Grady's idea, but that is the way the Dodgers are playing it. So here comes Torre and Mattingly to SoCal. Be interesting to see Torre play up the fact that he grew up in Brooklyn rooting for the Dodgers way back when. (Didn't he say he grew up rooting for the Yankees when he got that gig?) And Girardi has got a helluva an agent. Three years, 2.5 million a year. With one year's experience, he gets a higher annual salary than Terry Francona has with an undefeated record in the World Series. Sounds like Girardi pulled a Clemens. Good point. I like Joe Torre, but to kick Grady Little to the curb and after keeping a piss poor Dodgers squad in the hunt until early September...? Here's to burning bridges....it's gonna come back to haunt one day and you can bet the ranch on it.
  7. Here...let me help you out, OK? "...your lame showing"? And you quiz me over spelling? M'kay. You are aware, I hope, that on a typical keyboard the letters I and U are right next to each other...can you say "typo"? I know you can. I can die now, I've seen everything. Best wishes in the next world. [Apparently, you can't read either.] Nice goin'.

  11. Pretty poor: a. 1/2 right. b. No. c. no - How does your illogical mind get from the assumption that "your parents were in the military" , to the conclusion that I must be a Cowboys fan? It will be nice when you admit you make assumptions about people - like you did with Conn by with the "You Cle'lan fans just fry me" comment. Apparently, they didn't teach logic in Germany. A. If I'm 1/2 right, you just proved my point. B. Not from Texas. M'kay. Just a poor choice in football teams, then. C. You said you lived in Germany. Unless you were a street urchin or an orphan, you would probably be there because one or both of your parents were in the military. If not, perhaps there on business. Now how the hell you put that together with the Ca'boyz is beyond my comprehension. Maybe you're just trying to cover, I won't speculate, but looks like I had you pretty much pegged from the get go. Happy Trails, Mein Lieber Herr.
  12. Holy K-9 catastrophe, Batman! Get a new dog.
  13. Which reminds me...I need to check in with my brother and best friend to see how they're doing. Thanks for bringing this thread up, James. 'Preciate it.
  14. It is odd, in the sense that I didn't move to Texas until I was 18. Yet I liked them since I was about 5. So your logic STILL makes no sense. Blame your parents. [Who, if you were honest about it, are from Texas or are Ca'boyz fans and/or probably in the military when you lived in Germany....how'm I doin' so far, Aggie? ]
  15. Nah. PETA would sue for animal cruelty.
  16. Exactly. But the US Goverment just keeps bailing them out. I hear talk of floating Ford like they did Chrysler several years back. Whatever happened to all that hugga-mugga about the "invisible hand of the marketplace" stuff anyway? They don't really believe it. Small businesses can die, but big businesses have bought too many politicians to be allowed to fold up shop without a huge bailout. Truer words were never spoken, Bruce.....sad, but true.

  18. Why would you assume anything about which team someone likes based on where they live? I lived in Germany for 9 yrs, yet I liked the Cowboys there too. How can that be?? Please. He lives in Ohio. It is an easy assumption to make and one which, unless you knew otherwise, would be a pretty fair bet. Here, I'll show you: You live in Texas. You like the Ca'boyz. See? Amazing, isn't it.
  19. Actually it is, GS. NE has San Fran's first round draft pick in next year's draft? Will it fall into the top 10? Right now, it looks like it. Rich get richer.... (fuck you Goodell!) Yeah, yeah. You Cle'lan fans just fry me. Oh and thhhbbbtttt back atcha Who is a Cleveland fan? Toledo, right? Bengals, then? sheesh As usual, you're talking without knowing what you're talking about. Conn's been the biggest Patriots fan on this board as long as I've known him. As a Cowboys fan, I've got a vested interest in the Browns though. I want them to do bad so their first round pick in next year's draft is a high one. Cuz the Cowboys own it. As usual...? Toledo, Pats...of course! It all fits! What was I thinking? Corpus Christi, right?
  20. Exactly. But the US Goverment just keeps bailing them out. I hear talk of floating Ford like they did Chrysler several years back. Whatever happened to all that hugga-mugga about the "invisible hand of the marketplace" stuff anyway? Seems to me if you can't survive in the "marketplace" then I guess it's time to pack it in and close up shop.

  22. I just watched the parade and the chants to resign Lowell were unbelievable and the fans who came out and said he was their fave player . But i do agree with you Dan he will be 34 and he does tail off in the 2nd half (except this year). BUT the chants of DONT SIGN A-ROD was just as deafening at the Parade This could be a HARD sell to Sox fans .......i for one love A-Rod and think they should go for it , it will be very interesting he is not well liked here ! Why would you want to pay $30 Million a season to "Mr.April" ???? Especially after this play.... We'll take him
