  2. OK, you are "perfectly capable of listening to and appreciating his music and being able to make a judgement on his 'political' stance seperately." But I do have doubts about the ability of Atzmon's audience in general to do this, because Holocaust deniers are practiced flim-flam men. Larry, I wonder if you would suggest that certain books should be censored or banned because certain people have to be protected from reading what's in them.

  5. Hope he can pull it together It can't be easy for him Interesting to see the sympathy for Josh Hamilton. I think that he deserves support with what he's going through. But 25-30 years ago, Steve Howe was vilified when he went through similar experiences. I guess times have changed.

  7. Seems inevitable to me. I'd guess Paris' new hall was the last straw: "That's it. Call Rattle." Noteworthy that the article barely touched (if at all) on Rattle's education outreach efforts, something the writer laments would be a better use of public funds. Not a zero sum game, after all. David Geffen just donated $100 million toward the refurbishment of Avery Fisher in NY. Perhaps private fundraising could play a role in London? Will be interesting to watch from afar. Somehow, Geffen Hall just doesn't sound right.

  13. Wondering if you could comment on the sound and quality of the pressing? I've been going back and forth on whether or not to purchase this lately. Thanks in advance. Sound quality is great - best I've heard for this session - and the pressing is pristine.
