Can only remember two suggestions over the years. In the early 90's, I suggested that Mosaic do a BYG box. I received a note from Michael Cuscuna saying that it was a good suggestion, but there would be too many licensing problems and problems with the musicians involved to do it. That made sense, given what I knew about BYG's history and what I had read about musicians' feelings about the way they were treated. The second suggestion - a year or two ago - was a reissue of George Russell in Kansas City. Got a response that it was a good suggestion - still hoping that it happens.

Since this is back up, I'll add something. There are times when Joan tells me that she is envious of the fact that I have a hobby that I can become so engrossed in. (I don't tell her that for me, "hobby" doesn't come close as a description. "A way of life" might be more accurate .) There are other times when she says kiddingly that she's thinking of putting my collection out in the front yard and selling everything for 10 cents each. I'll worry about that one when I think she's serious. (And I hope I'll be able to stop her before you guys find out.)
