A third for John Fahey's Christmas/ holiday recordings.
Some favorites of mine:
New England Christmastide - Traditional carols and melodies played on uillean pipes, tin whistle, guitar, cello, concertina, mandolin, hurdy-gurdy, etc.
Cool Yule - w. Louis Armstrong, Big John Greer, Leo Watson, Babs, Gonzales, et al.
Blue Yule w. Eddie C. Campbell, Texas Pete Mayes, Poppa Hop, Jimmy Liggins and his Drops of Joy, et al.
The Roches: We Three Kings - probably my all time favorite
I got a copy of An Uptown Christmas earlier this year. Looking forward to playing it in a week or two when the time is right.
